That would permit a GPS guided smart bomb to detonate within inches of where that Facebook post was made.
The smart thing (extreme) would be to confiscate every cellphone from their soldiers. Not as smart (or extreme) is to go from soldier to soldier and disable the GPS on each phone. Then make it clear that anyone using social media or enabling GPS on their phone will face severe punishment. Also make it clear that spot checks of phones will be coming.
If they want individual soldiers to recruit they should have it done under the watchful eye of trained individuals.
Of course any ISIS member should disregard everything I say because I am a Kafir.

I can buy that scenario also. It is not a coincidence that this story was released a couple of days after it was reported that American pilots were being refused permission to attack ISIS targets.

U.S. Intelligence... managed to pinpoint an ISIS headquarters building in Syria by using the selfie photo as a reference point.Obviously we need an ad campaign to encourage these selfies -- #1, remind them that martyrdom is their true objective, and #2, taunt them as cross-dressing cowards if they fail to do it.
