Today we head to the range to honor TexasCowboy's love of the 2nd Amendment by shooting lots of guns & eating BBQ on the range.
Friday was a day of leisure, shopping, getting items stuck in a tree, eating yummy food and cursing a stupid fishing poles. Fun times!
Pictures will be posted at some point ~ the wifi is iffy here, so be patient.
If I can find it. I have googled my way to the town of Whitney, but dang it! I get lost on those meandering little streets/roads to where we’re staying. LOL!
It’ll come to me. I just have to study it more closely. The instructions on their website were kind of wanky. :)

As you know, my MIL fell again and broke her other leg. My hubby went up to be with her yesterday, and I might...MIGHT...have to use my weekend off to go up there to try to be of some help as she transitions into rehab.
If I don’t show up, you’ll know why. :) Life gets in the way of fun sometimes!

Thank you so much for your prayers. She is slowly improving. As a matter of fact hubby said she was being pretty bossy today, and that’s good. Her feistiness is returning. :)
Hubby might be coming home this weekend...his mom is now in a rehab facility for “torture”....so I might get to make it to the recon if there is room for me.
I’d love to be there for the fun! A lady in our company that has spent some time here had a family reunion at Lake Whitney and she loved it!
Glad to the MIL is improving.
