I’m sorry to hear of your trouble. What a mess!

To be honest, I was joking when I made my remark but I feel for anyone who has had trouble during this awful economy. My husband lost his job two years ago and we are struggling as well. Take care.

Oh I know you were joking....but took it as an opportunity to let others know about the subsidies and what a Catch-22 the healthcare situation has become. I didn't understand how the whole thing worked until I got hit with it myself. I've always had insurance until my accident..but couldn't afford the $1200/mo premium to continue it under Cobra. Now...I will be penalized with a fine for not being able to afford any of the above. How crazy is that?

I have to say I feel blessed because on a fluke (or an angel on my shoulder)... I took out LTD for the first time in my life (always felt long term disability would never be a prob) If I hadn't, I would be totally cooked.

I'm sorry about your husband's job and wish you the best. Sometimes God takes us to hard places before He lifts us up! :)
