“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Luke 8:17”

Some of Luke’s writings/sayings can be hard to take.

This however was one of my Grand Dad’s favorite sayings. He despised FDR/Truman for their secrets. Their pet mediots and professors have kept many of their secrets.

Today with the internet bad secrets get leaked and exposed without the mediots.

We have to pass it before we can see what’s in it. That always works out so well for us.

Cruz voted to give Obama immigration powers.

Walker has done more to curtail illegal immigration than most Republicans and never endorsed amnesty.....especially with a vote.

Sessions says Cruz is wrong and Walker is right on immigration. I trust Jeff Sessions’ judgement.

Cruz best change his opinion on this, or I’m done with him.

Illegals have overrun and ruined Mexifornia and I gladly escaped. I don’t want my new home in the US ruined - there’d be nowhere to escape to.

I just posted.

Who is your candidate? All the others are even worse, promoting amnesty. Walker says he is not, after being for it after being against it at first.

It’s looking like a field that will screw over conservatives- yet again.

“Walker has done more to curtail illegal immigration than most Republicans and never endorsed amnesty.....especially with a vote.”

Walker was clearly for ‘a pathway to citizenship.” Google it, there are dozens of stories when he said it.

He changed his mind when deciding to run. I’d call that disingenuous.

There goes my support for him *poof* Not joking around, Cruz is dead to me, He just put the death stake in his campaign. I really hope Donald Trump runs because I’m fed up with this crap, Republicans are all posers then when you are not looking they stab you in the back, they are all posers, every last one of them. Trump is the only guy out of all these morons who comes across to me as someone tough enough who will put an end to this BS once and for all. He is an outsider which is what is needed. BOTH these parties - Democrap and Repugnicans are traitors to the United States. Trump is announcing on Tuesday if he will run. I do not care if the guy is an egotistical blowhard, he’s the ONLY guy who seems to have the balls to put an end to this BS, this administration is absolutely out of control and Republicans are in on it.

Yes, but each time Walker said he was open to that idea as long as it is not amnesty and as long as they go behind those in the legal system.

But Walker stopped sanctuary cities, stopped in-state tuition for illegals and did several other things in Wisconsin. Real actions that shows he is not an illegal sympathizer like Jeb.

Then, after meeting with border governors (Walker loves to talk about Republican governor successes around the country as the model for Washington DC) Walker then met with Jeff Sessions. Seeing the gravity of the situation and learning Sessions' perspective, Walker adopted all of Sessions' positions on the issue.

Once Walker stakes out a position, he does not waver.

LOL, he wavered plenty - against amnesty, for it, against it.

You can call it by any other name, A PATHWAY = amnesty.

No he’s not as bad as Jeb or Rubio. That always seems to be the candidates we get - lesser of evils. Mussolini was not as bad as Hitler too.

See, you keep using the word "amnesty" and then say he favored a path to citizenship.....which is the same thing.

Well, Cruz supports a "path to citizenship" also. He actually went further and offered illegals work permits in his amendment to the Gang of 8 bill. Cruz also supports increasing H1B Visas by 500%, eliminating jobs held by US Citizens in favor of cheaper, foreign workers.

Then, you have Cruz voting to give Obama powers over immigration he did not have before.

I think the comparison is clear. You want to twist Walker's words into saying he supported amnesty (when he said he didn't) but give a pass to Cruz's ACTIONS.

No candidate is going to deport illegals.

Walker and Cruz are still our two best candidates.....I liked Walker before and still like him better than Cruz.

I would support Cruz if he can win the nomination, but he is going down the Rubio path currently.

you obviously haven’t read a word i said in your blind obsession to support Walker.

He supported amnesty. If we use your criteria, them McCain never supported amnesty. Nor Obama.

I give Cruz no pass at all. He will have to explain supporting TPA and H1Bs. Walker will have to explain supporting amnesty before he didn’t. And tell where he stands on TPA. A lot with governors is unknown because they only vote on local issues.

I’m not blinded by any candidates’ weaknesses. Doing that just leads us to support RINOs that will destroy this country. Just a tad slower than the democrats.

No, McCain has come out and supported amnesty openly.

There is no perfect candidate. They all have flaws. I still think Walker has the best record of conservatism in the last 30 years.

Dispute that.

Bears repeated, LOUDLY AND OFTEN! Another power grab by Obama on the immigration front in a “Trade” bill.... Get on the phones with you congressmen and women FReepers! STOP BLAMING OBAMA FOR BEING THE MARXIST, OPEN BORDERS, POWER-GRABBING, DICTATOR WANNABE THAT HE IS. Obama has been very transparent about his goals and agenda, and his use of secret legislation to achieve those goals and agenda should come as no surprise to anyone. The blame here lies with Boehner, McConnell, and every Republican that does not take a firm, visible stand against secret legislation and the surrender of legislative power under the Constitution to the executive branch. 17 posted on ‎6‎/‎11‎/‎2015‎ ‎10‎:‎18‎:‎34‎ ‎AM by Labyrinthos

Walker in 2013 said a plan in which illegal immigrants can become United States citizens by first paying penalties and enduring a waiting period “makes sense.” ...then he changed his mind.

It's an election year and candidates are going to “move” their stance as close as they can to obtain voters to win without compromising their principles which is exactly what Cruz did by introducing the amendment he did in May...so he's on the record regarding immigration, while still maintaining his support for "free trade".

Yup, he changed his mind after talking with border governors, border guards and touring the southern border.

Walker met with Sen Sessions, the most conservative Senator with regard to immigration. Walker adopted Sessions' positions on immigration, which are to the right of Cruz.

Cruz talks a good game, but has a few very questionable amendments and votes.

Walker has never taken one ACTION that could be considered anything but conservative.

I'll take the guy who changed his tune, after gathering facts over the guy who says one things and does another.

You will not get me to change my mind regarding Cruz anymore than I will yours for Walker. They are both good men who will do good things for this country...so let’s leave it at that...it’s fruitless to bash over amnesty and TPP because weather we like it or not...which we don’t I have no doubt both are going to be a go. It will only be tweaking and amending that will be done thereafter.

“Dispute that.”

Kind of silly thing to say, so ok. Cruz is much more conservative and has been bucking the establishment GOP in DC, which us where the fight will be held.

Walker, if he wins the primary, will be the GOPe candidate. They are already indicating that. If you want to know how conservative a candidate is, look at who is attacking them and with what intensity. Cruz has the MSM AND GOP leadership scared.
