The House this morning takes up the bill to authorize Obama to negotiate a Trans-Pacific trade deal. Despite the GOP leadership's support, conservatives may well defeat it: they fell by one vote short last night, on a procedural vote on the rule, that would have killed it. Call your congresscritters to vote NO, and post comments and links here if you wish
You wouldn't even want to read his canned email response to me....overly-windy, tedious, trite, full of platitudes, weasel-words, misdirection, avoidance of the real issue, special-interest-sucking-up, etc. etc. and so forth. I knew right away that he'd be voting for anything advancing ObamaTrade.
The blue dart you just saw streakin' and smokin' past your window was my electronic answer to him. He's on my watch-list today, you'd better believe.
A lot of these DC "representatives" really think we're a bunch of easily-duped dummies out here in fly-over land, don't they!

I called my Rep today...for every reason I was told why he was voting for it.I had a comeback. thanks Free republic because knowledge in the right hands is great!

No... I mean Steve King.. R Iowa. He’s for this thing, and was telling us that “we’re hopeful, and expect that the president is going to sign this bill and also abide by the provisions in it.”... That’s foolish....

Here’s another idiot talking.... he thinks he’ll be able to vote down an Obammy trade agreement. Sure he can vote it down... but Obammy will just executive order it and tell the press that he’s doing what’s best for the country and that republicans want to kill workers, old people, black people, and children.
Ugggh....as if THAT will EVER happen. I like Rep Steve King, but for him to put his faith...and expect We the People to as well..on the above is disappointing. Not ready to call him a fool...but, I am disappointed.

The Democrats have done their jobs. They have enabled the financial strip mining of the United States while keeping everyone out of jail. Now it's time for the Republican branch of the Uniparty to enable shipment of the last manufacturing job outside of the United States. How else to pave the way for a feudal future?

Faux News channel ignored this TPA last night. I watched up until 10PM and gave it up. They are a defacto wing of the GOPe.
What she’s mad about is that she didn’t get something she wants thrown into the mix in order to secure her vote.
