Former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-Mass.) said on Sunday that Republicans should not doubt the conservative credentials of possible GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
Romney argued that Bush, Floridas former governor, would proudly represent conservative values should he seek the White House in 2016.
Governor Bush is a man of integrity, Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee, told host Chuck Todd on NBCs Meet the Press.
He has very strong record, he said. He doesnt have to speak his way into conservatism, hes lived conservatism.
Romneys praise comes as Bush weighs an Oval Office bid next election cycle.
He is expected to formally launch his campaign on Monday from Miami.

Severely, he might add...
Says the severe conservative.
But is he severely conservative?
LOL, like Mitt Romney would know what conservatism is about.
Newspeak
ROFLOL!!
Well no one wants to Compromise any reservations they may have with this trade deal and support Ted Cruz, otherwise we WILL be getting those Two A-Hole's again!
Mitt, go away. What are you trying to prove? Fade away, please! I have gotten e-mails from his wife asking for more money, as if they need it.
Romney played a conservative in a series of tv commercials.
Furtner proof that Romney has no idea what conservatism is.
Mittens, please take Jeb and go for a long walk off a short pier. Or maybe a flying f*ck at a rolling doughnut.
Terri Schiavo's family would beg to differ.
Baloney, Mitt! No matter which way you cut it, amnesty alone blows your statement out of the water.
Mutt Romney can’t even spell “conservatism”, much less say he knows what it’s about.
He can mouth the words, but apparently not very convincingly.
Romney voted for Paul Tsongas in the 1992 primary, and didn’t become a republican again, until October of 1993 after leaving the GOP in 1979.
I think the Bush family is too far right, for Romney.
Is it me or do I smell desperation in those words?
Severe?
Like sort of dropped on his head quite a few times (his head sort of looks like it, though)?
Regardless, he still has that look in his eyes like he got the crap beat out of him in school a few times.
“Romney: Bush has ‘lived conservatism’”
So did Bush-41, and Bush-43, and my parents (who voted Democrat all their lives).
HUGE DIFFERENCE between “living conservative” and “being conservative”. I agree with Romney, Jeb probably does “live conservative”...but he a FAR from a conservative.
I’ve got my issues with these trade treaties but its really not big enough to overcome the rest of the good I see in Cruz.
It helps that my governor, despite being a tech obsessed liberal has brought a fair number of jobs to the state through “secretive” trade deals. Our back and forth trade with Israel has nearly quadrupled at a time when much of the world is engaging in economic terrorism against her.
