What’s bizarre is that Lisa Murkowski isn’t on the list. She LOST renomination in 2010 (which also should’ve barred her from running a sore loser write-in campaign). She’s remained on the left ever since and hasn’t mended any fences. Taking her out in the primary - AGAIN - ought to be top priority (though I’d imagine she’ll try the same stunt again — but if the GOP leadership had any standards, would tell her if she loses again, she will not be recognized or seated as a Republican). If she wants to vote like a Democrat and get their vote in an election, let her caucus with them.

The Boxer open seat in CA should be there, too (ahead of Burr, at least).

MD’s Mikulski open seat should be there, too, especially given the internecine race war occurring on the Dem side. The GOP has an excellent chance with Donna Edwards as the Dem nominee.

I think we’ll hold Florida but would hardly say it’s guaranteed with Atwater out, not unless Grayson wins the rat nomination.

This appears to be for general elections so there is no reason for Alaska to be on the list. In any case, Murkowski lacks a challenger as of yet. We need a good challenger there, and no, not Joe Miller.

Overall I’m bullish. GOP seats I’d put at under 50% chance we’ll hold? None. Strong pickup opportunities? Two.

We need a good candidate. Who's available? Is former Gov. Parnell a conservative? What about Miller? Who else?

Well, I agree that the Dhimmicrap candidates are an unimpressive lot, but the state hasn't elected a Republican statewide (other thanm RINO Ah-nold in a very special circumstance) in a long time. Who do you think can pull it off?

Well, it's the bluest of blue states, but we did just elect a Republican governor -- in part because of the horrid record of the previous governor and in part because of the infighting among Democrats. (In fact, Lt. Gov. Brown is now running for Donna Edwards's seat.) A lot of the Democrats who voted for Doug Gansler in the primary either stayed home or voted for Hogan.

I'm not sure who would be a good candidate, however. REp. Andy Harris might be able to pull it off, but he seems more interested in retaining his Eastern Shore House seat. I don't know if Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford (Maryland's third straight black Lt. Gov, BTW) is ready or wants to make a statewide run of his own. Steel is yesterday's news. Bongino again? Most of the rest are Connie Morella-type RINOs.
