I’m not sympathetic. These communities request and take Federal money for all kinds of things. Now they get told what to do by the Federal government. Too bad, so sad.

Hillary is a NIMBY, and John Kerry was a NIMBY. In fact here in California, the SoCalled “tolerant” liberals are the leaders if the NIMBY’s. forcing ‘projects into the middle class neighborhoods because “those little people” deserve other “little people”.

Obama's social engineers will eliminate local zoning, such as one-acre minimum lots, to achieve what the HUD rule calls "inclusive communities." Property values be damned.

From this statement I can gather that 'shanty towns' are a completely acceptable option under HUD's plans.

There was a good piece in the WSJ this morning about this very thing. I’m sure Obama will be living so far away from all this that it will never touch him, of course. The only blacks he has around him are, strangely enough, wealthy black entrepreneurs like Oprah (although Michelle obviously hates her) - even though black entrepreneurship is something he’d like to crush.

For a socialist, the political world is all, and that’s how you make your money. It’s how Hillary and Bill (now casting themselves as populists with a class-warfare message) and Obama and virtually everyone around him made their money, and in his mind, government is and should be the source of all things, including his personal wealth.

I moved from my last house because illegal aliens moved in, 19 of them, two families and a bunch of men. They filled their trucks with trash piled high after digging through people’s trash cans early in the morning, then they would dismantle everything all day long. They would strip the insulation off of wire.

Then the city started building section 8 apartments. It wasn’t zoned for apartments, but the city made exceptions if the developer dedicated a portion of the units to the poor.

I posted a list of a bunch of California laws this morning here
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3301087/posts?page=18

All the laws have wording in them such as “disadvantaged communities”, “women-owned”, “disadvantaged business”, “minority”, and “affordable housing”. Every description is used except “evil white capitalistic manpig”.

The government passed a Cap and Trade law, AB 32, to tax manufacturing and energy producers. The energy producers just raise their rates and the manufacturers move out of state.

The voters voted for a high-speed rail. It was supposed to be free and use existing land along existing rail and freeway. No private investors were interested and they couldn’t sell any bonds, so three judges gave them the go-ahead anyway.

It is going to cost somewhere around $100 billion, they are confiscating land, nobody wants it in their neighborhood, it is going to have two twenty foot walls dividing communities and farm land, and they no longer expect that the riders will cover operating costs.

The Cap and Trade law, AB 32, received one billion dollars from manufacturers in the last quarterly auction. 35 percent of that money will go to the train. The train authority mapped out disadvantaged communities
SB 535 Disadvantaged Communities (Map)
http://oehha.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Viewer/index.html?appid=dae2fb1e42674c12a04a2b302a080598
Click on the map, you can zoom and it gives you the percentage of Hispanics.

They started building the train in Madera, it’s in the middle of nowhere, but as the state cuts off water to the farms, the migrants will have to have somewhere to live and so we will build them some high-density housing around the train station and every train station. Some of that money will be for light rail and bus feeder lines to the stations, they get high-density housing as well for one half mile on either side.

The trains and busses are mostly at surface level, this is designed to increase traffic, there will be no right turns on red, men in tights riding bikes and pedestrians interfering with traffic. People will want to move into these high-density apartments.

In a study done in 2008, Driving and the Built Environment,
http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=12747&page=R9
they found that Hispanics like to live in clusters and will move into these apartments as do young people.

They lessened the required parking in shopping centers and apartments to discourage cars. They have turned some street lanes into bike and walking paths.

In the same study, they came to the conclusion that doing all this will lower CO2 by less than one percent to 11 percent. They don’t know. Last week, Obama said that we can lessen CO2 by over 11 percent. He knows.

We have to go back to the concept of meritocracy in everything. We are rewarding bad behavior and punishing good behavior in many different ways. Didn’t any of these people take Psych 101? Behaviorism is the basic building block upon which all the more complex schools of psychology must rest—even Freudian, which came earlier. It’s like a simple math concept. You can’t jump to the sophisticated ideas without understanding the basic one.

Just notice that the media has suppressed this news. They want it to be a surprise when your innocent 10 year old daughter is found behind a dumpster.
This is $h!tface’s worst act of hatred for this country.

I went to high school and college in Tempe, AZ and lived there for over 30 years. About 10-12 years ago, just a block or two from the high school, they built some Section 8 housing. Within 6 months, the crime rate had tripled in the neighborhoods surrounding the housing. The new housing looked great from the outside for about 6 months but then signs could be seen of neglect, deferred maintenance, and trash littering the property. The insides were trashed and filthy.

The high school where I graduated, down the street from this housing, went from number one in the city academically to last of five schools. There were gangs on campus and fights all the time.

A Walgreens drugstore was on the corner in a little strip center, about a block from the housing. The place became the target of robberies and break-ins almost immediately, sometimes as high as 8-10 a month. People would loiter around the front door begging for change from the customers. The management was always chasing them off. The police were there regularly. Eventually they closed and pulled out of the neighborhood because of the never-ending problems.

I finally moved out myself to Florida because I retired and didn't want to live in the big city with these kinds of problems.

If the government is successful in this push to integrate low income housing into pricier neighborhoods, the entire place will go to sh*t because the Left's utopian vision is to have everybody living in the same squalid conditions. Where the next "white, middle-class" flight will be to is a mystery to me. I've found mine in rural Florida, raising beef cattle. Little crime and squalid conditions around here. Poor, yes. But not crime-ridden.

People (the rest of us who are not black) don't want to live with blacks because of the way they act.

It has has nothing to do with the color of skin - many from India are darker - same with Hispanics and Asians. Blacks are the only racial group that as a group ignores the feelings of other... from loud music, to cleaning their cars by tossing garbage out the window, to thin-skinned angry responses to being 'dissed'. Then there's the criminal issues...

No other racial group acts like blacks... Not as a group.

The black community needs to look at themselves and ask why even blacks (when they become middle class) don't want to live with blacks... It's a culture issue and it stated in the 60's....

One of my sisters lives in a town where they have 2 acre minimum. They do not want that tightly packed housing.

This is not much different than outright communism. But coming from Commissar Barack, it is to be expected.

They have been trying to infiltrate gated communities with Section 8 Hyenas from the projects for many years now. They will eventually get their way, buying foreclosures and building small multifamily housing right next to the McMansions.

White flight will continue. As long as people can vote with their feet, the government will be ruining good, safe neighborhoods filled with hardworking people who will flee as soon as the importation of Section 8 bums begins.
