Your conclusion has been my conclusion, too. This study, though, does raise the possibility of using scientific method to look into what, if any, influence the “spiked” water has on the population. The parameters of such a study would be exceedingly difficult to define and the conclusions tentative at best.

They'll compromise on a law that allows a home owner who purchases an appropriate insurance policy from an approved policy issuer to select an approved hole digging company otherwise they have to accept a hole dug by the installation companies.
Whether said hole must remain open and surround with an appropriate, approved, safety fence or can be refilled after installation of or replacement of said filter will be decided by OSHA once the specifications of the required F-35 filter (as the filter has been named) have been established by a joint industry/government panel of experts.

From what I’ve heard, asian carp don’t taste badly, but they are boney. One of the universities in my state has a program investigating the commercial possibilities available with this fish and I know of at least one company that is harvesting the fish, flash-freezing them and then shipping them (ironically) back to asia.
No mention on their web site of pharmaceuticals.
I thought I read (don’t ask my morning brain where) that Berkey was going to test their filters for the pill. I hope I’m remembering correctly.
We have the white filters as well as the black filters which come with the system. They take out fluoride and arsenic so I would think they also take out pharmaceuticals.

Harvesting; If you have a big flatbottom, and rig up a double bowspit to the port and starbord, with a net hung between them, just slowly motor up a river and they jump right into your net and boat. The hard part is the gutting, freezing, and shipping. Take the heads and offal and use that for your poultry farm or to make fish fertizer!
