While whites are fleeing the Catholic denomination, the majority of Catholics are still white, besides, it is a church denomination, not a race, and the Catholic immigration is coming from Catholic nations, to this non-Catholic nation.
So white Catholics still outnumber what some Catholics are increasingly implying as the less worthy races, within their denomination.
Disapproval of their Pope is at 4%, by American Catholics.

A rather vague statistic which is, I believe totally misleading. What is it that they approve of? PF does have some very endearing characteristics - ability to live simply and with others; seems to be humble, etc.
OTOH, my Catholic friends who attend Mass frequently during the week and also attend adoration hours in their church often - are mystified by many of PG’s statements. I once called PF a bit naïve about the manner of his speaking which leave him open for all sorts of interpretations. I call it misguided.
This last encyclical is a perfect example. Into the body of the piece he inserts AGW, which is not theological except in a tangential manner as to being a good steward of the earth. This allows liberals to promote PF as a member of their club, so to speak. In this same encyclical, PF very clearly states that traditional Catholic beliefs about the sanctity of life, marriage, male/female roles are still in place without exception. That would negate a lot of the lib’s enthusiasm, but all the chatter about AGW is drowning out the rest of the encyclical.
That is why I think he is naive.

The Catholics here always want to offer anecdotal evidence that disagree with the facts about the Catholic denomination, and their voting and politics, why it is so important to conceal that from conservatives here, this site of conservative information and activism, is puzzling.
My Catholic relatives (of Italian descent) live on Long Island, New York and Massachusetts....at least most of them do.
And most of them vote Republican, so to every rule there are exceptions.
My first cousin is an elementary school teacher in the New York area, and she and her husband are staunch Republicans.

I am now 75 years old. ALL of my life, I have been told that the Catholic Church won’t allow any kind of birth control & that Catholic families should have many, many, many children.
Now, IMO, that is part of the growth of a population which soon may outstrip it’s ability to feed itself.
I think the Catholic Church has alot to answer for if this becomes reality.
Perhaps this Pope thinks ONLY the non-Catholics should be taken out so that the Catholics can be the final survivors?

What I’ve stated is a large reason why that may be the case.
I didn’t say entirely. But many, many churches and many umbrella associations (like the PCUSA) are rapidly running to the left and preaching the acceptance of homosexuality, performing same-sex marriages, and essentially enabling many of the transgressions the Bible instructs against.
The PCUSA just voted to allow openly homosexual people become pastors.
Yes, there are churches that stick as closely to the Word of God as they can, and I attend one (even though one of the female assistant pastors sometimes refers to God as “she”).
So what I said is correct. If you want more information, try reading “The Church Impotent” by Podles. It’s a very good read that focuses on how churches are becoming feminized, which is the Oprah aspect of the shift I mentioned.
An author named Edgar Bundy wrote several books explaining how many of the churches have been taken over by Marxism, and they were written in the 50’s and 60’s. The issue has only gotten worse.
Let’s face it, most of the mainstream churches have corrupted scripture to preach outright Socialism.
As I said, not all, but many.

Ooh... some of this might be intended to be provocative (in fact in line with an evangelical view of Christ’s church on earth), but some of it sounds marxist/idolatrous.
I could give him benefit of the doubt on paradoxes and riddles. But to get on board the warmism panic kick seems to be, well, just wrong. It is not apparently in line with scriptural promises; it is not even in line with good science which would tell us, at the least, we know too little to fathom the question. I hope the Man Upstairs has clued him in on something the rest of us don’t know, because otherwise he is a false prophet with all the retribution that such will garner.
