Because it is only Christians that are being raped, beaten and killed by sword to the neck. Doesn't Chicago have more murders per month than Iraq did during the Bush war? Maybe Chicago might have more murders than ISIS commits every month, if not, just add Baltimore's murder rate to Chicago and for sure they have more murders than Iraq.

But all the horrors of the Bush war!!

I read an article about the Yazidi complaining that a Christian humanitarian group was trying to convert them because they were passing out Bibles along with food and supplies. Got the Christians shut down.

"Americans are sick of sending their sons and daughters to die for goals that won’t be kept. No one wants to die for bringing a few months of freedom to a corner of the world."

I agree. Besides the dead, most people don't know how many more thousands of Americans were wounded and maimed for that ME cesspool.

I now have doubts if we should have invaded Iraq. However, since we did, we should have stayed as we did in Germany and Japan.

As for ISIS, they could be decimated if the US and other Western nations bombarded them into oblivion (collateral damage be damned - think Dresdan, Hamburg, Hiroshima, etc.) We know where they are and we don't need boots on the ground - death from the skies!

But of course, our so-called CinC won't do that, but recently sends over some 500 ground troops to be cannon fodder in the name of training Iraqi troops. After all, he needs to protect his Nobel Peace Prize, not to mention his Muzzie brethern.

Obama has cleansed his conscience by using the atrocity that occurred in Charleston to condemn the United States for not submitting to his desire for gun control.

ISIS could be crushed with the right president. Tell Turkey that bombing campaigns will be begin if they dont stop helping ISIS and they will be kicked out of nato.
Arm the kurds and other religious minorities that are not muslim.
Major air support every day.
Devastate any oil fields in ISIS control.

I would send a donation to buy and free Yazdi slaves, but there is no organization that I trust where I can send a donation.

I think you might be on to something. But the problem with donations to free the Yazdi slaves is that it would end up funneling money to ISIS, and encourage them to kidnap even more innocents.

However, donations to help Christian, Yazdi, and Kurd villages defend themselves, that would have an impact. The problem here, as you noted, is that one can never be sure just where the money will end up.

"ISIS ended up with a lot of our weapons and gear."

We need to change our policy or even codify it in law that our government is never to pass arms to any nation or entity outside of our own military.

With the exception of our allies in WW2. Arming this group or that group always ends up with the wrong people having our weapons and using them against us. It also opens the door to political corruption from within our own government. Think Benghazi.

If ISIS or all of Islam needs to be destroyed we need to do it ourselves. If other nations want to help, fine but they need to bring their own stuff.

Tell Saudi that if they don't control these animals and themselves we are going to turn Meca and any other islamic city into a glow in the dark glass parking lot.

Oh, and that oil we've been buying all these years. Well it's ours now.

I'm convinced the evil that is islam is spawned and financed through Saudi Arabia.

"Because it is only Christians that are being raped, beaten and killed by sword to the neck."

Sorry, but you're forgetting the countless atrocities towards their fellow Muslims of different sects. They all suck and should just be fuel/air bombed into ash. All of them.

Read my post above about if a Beslan happens in this Country. Ex-military snipers will have a field day, and there's nothing the Fedgov or local SWAT teams will be able to do about it. They'll hit and run without leaving forensic evidence. If the above were to happened, I would also expect many Mosques go down in flames. While I don't want to see or approved of the above, I truly think it's coming. Glad I'm at the end stretch and hope I don't have to see such guerrilla warfare on our soil.

Demonic spirits are territorial, ISIS is (I believe) that same brutal evil spirit that empowered Saddam Hussein. I had wondered where it went and how long it would be before it showed up again, I didn’t have to wait long,

“Hitler patterned the Nazi Party after it, the Grand Mufti of Palestine was his mentor...”

True, and I also believe there is much more to be understood here around spiritual warfare and the ‘beast that had the fatal head wound and yet did live’ this will be a much more powerful (and yet subtle) global spiritual power to be received everywhere, with no single nation (excluding Israel after a short time) left alone to stand against it,

And just using this as an example of what it may one day appear like, Hitler was a less than subtle beast that became manifest as Nazi Germany for the intent to destroy the Jews before God restored them, and that ‘man’ Hitler had a fatal head wound, and yet that spirit, that same demonic control which also has much in common with Islam is still very much alive in the world (and no I don’t mean the marginalized supremacist aryan fringe hate groups)

Imagine if Hitlers demonic spirit (that same evil spirit rising up again) had drones with hellfire missiles, modern NSA surveillance technology for its SS and nuclear tipped ballistic missiles and weapons of mass destruction via western powers (USA/Europe/Rome blessing it for 1.2 billion) and then add in the most important ingredient of all for true ultimate global political authority: economic and monetary policy control providing some market stabilizing basket of currencies etc., (and then only buying and selling with numbers - computers)

That beast would then have risen up again and who could make war against it this time? or stand up against it as in World War II? No one, as all of the nations are now a part of it, they wont fight against themselves, (its all peace and security) instead they battle only against their own remnant of citizens who wont comply (and later Israel) and as Revelation says, who can make war with that?

"Seriously, on this one. The US is not the only nation in the world with the ability to project power. Where is England, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Russia, India, Turkey."

That's what I asked above. We know what our CinC is about, but where are they? I've always wondered why Russia didn't go all out on the Chechens for killing their children in Beslan. Let the Muslims pull that on American soil and not just some singular "lone wolves" and the "blades of grass" WILL start killing/destroying anything Muslim, including the so-called moderates. At my old age, I'll do what I can.

Unfortunately the U.S. population has been inward looking for better and worse. Ever heard of the Rape of Nanking?, Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass)? or the Italian invasion of Ethiopia in 1935 which involved poison gas? If Nazi Germany hadn't declared war in the U.S. first after Pearl Harbor it most likely the U.S. wouldn't have been fully involved in the European side of World War II. The fact that the U.S. stayed in Europe and Asia after World War II is an exception, must wars the U.S. completely demobilizes and retreats behind the oceans from the rest of the world. We still have prominent conservative leaders that either want us completely out of the Middle East or be more allied with the Arab countries because they have the oil and other countries such as Israel do not.

I believe the American people are sick of wars.

They may well be, but if history teaches us anything, it is that sooner or later the war will come to us (as it did on 9/11). Ignoring these sick bastards isn't going to make them go away. On the other hand, lots of smart bombs and 5.56mm will.

True. But sometimes one is a far lesser evil and planning to do far less damage to this country.

No one is doing anything because the MSM is not pushing it, because they will do nothing to embarrass Dear Leader.

I was surprised though watching PBS Newshour yesterday. They had a lot of hard hitting coverage on the mess in Yemen, ackknolwedging it is a failure of US policy.

And on DU they are increasingly throwing Obummer under the bus, after TPP etc. and realize they were duped. They will also not embrace Hillary, look for Sanders to get more support.

"I would send a donation to buy and free Yazdi slaves, but there is no organization that I trust where I can send a donation. It would be a damn sight cheaper than a war and we would be spared the empty rhetoric and hollow threats. How about crowd funding? "

Sending money to barbaric slave trading terrorists would only result in empowering them to do more barbaric slave trading. Sending them money would promote that business and spread suffering.
