Nearly a week after announcing he was running for president, Donald Trump has made it official and filed his paperwork with the Federal Election Commission.
The one-page statement of candidacy was hand-delivered to the FEC on Monday. Trump had 15 days to send the document to the agency.
Based on the document, the business tycoon’s campaign committee will be called Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

Walker wont’ even announce much less file. There must be a helluva big shoe waiting to drop on him or something. :-)
I was wondering why he hasn’t announced. Is there some unknown advantage to being the last? I know there can be a surge in support when it happens and he is already polling well. Kind of weird.
Once Walker announces then he has to face the real heat with the rest of them. Frankly its starting to look a little embarrassing. Even Jebbie has jumped in.
I don’t see any embarrassment. Like I said, there could be some tactical advantage. If it will help him help defeat a turd like Bush I’m all for it.

I’m willing to give Donald a chance. He can’t be bought with his wealth and he is PRO-US SOVEREIGNTY AND ANTI-PC.

Are they EVER relevant? Weren’t Jimmah Carter and Ronald Reagan pretty much in a dead heat, in the polls, just prior to 1980’s election? (Reagan’s kicker had nothing to do with *polls*, btw.)

There’s some confusion about the specifics of FEC filings.
This first one simply declares that he is spending or raising money as a candidate.
The next step is the financial disclosure filing, for which he has another 30 days. That filing can be delayed twice for a period of 45 days (another 90 days total).
The theory is that Trump will delay the financial disclosure filing long enough to get in the first few debates and then drop out before the last must-file-by date.
