The cluelessness of so many freepers and pundits like Michael Medved embarrass me. Even Mark Levin, who is always denigrating the southern side in the war, finally acknowledged tonight that there was a problem with the banning of the flag. When will people wake up? This is just the first step. Those of us who love history are losing our history. And I’m a NYer!

I get into it with “the south was right” folks on FR, but I would NEVER get on board with this obvious canard. I never argue about south/north - the matter was settled with the blood of 700,000 men. But both sides have a right to their beloved symbols of sacrifice and patriotism. Lincoln must be rolling over in his grave - after all, he always had the band play “Dixie” after the war.
It never ceases to amaze me how people can write this crap. He is calling for the end of selective free speech and doesn’t even know it.
