Rand is just doing what liberals do. And instead of people just jumping all over those of us that say that of him and the other RINOS,( not you ) they would better serve their country by looking at why some of us say it.
Because we sure do seem to be right about it an awful lot.
All this nonsense over the Battle flag reminds me of the movie PORK CHOP HILL in which a battle is raged over a hill of no strategic importance. It was just a test of wills.

Hopefully the left will successfully purge our society of this hateful symbol just in time to start a news cycle for football preseason! This will make a wonderful foundation for banning the name Redskins!
Some of the politicians are at least saying the flag should be in museums. It's a better answer at this point than is tearing it down. Nothing's going to change until life is uncomfortable for the political class of grovelers over-compensating for their racism.

I wonder if next Rand rails against crosses. It seems like that symbol that burned at KKK gatherings and in front yards of people that the KKK intimidated would be even more heinous, threatening and hateful than the Confederate flag.

I see the battle flag as a symbol of southern bravery against impossible odds to defend their home and liberty.
Just like the American flag, the Gadsden flag, and countless other symbols thou-out our history. The fact that some people want to associate it only with racism, slavery, and murder is not my problem.
I don’t take the opinion of racist, salvers, murders, or Psychopaths seriously when I decided what a part of our history means.
Rand Paul should take a good long hard look at his own platform and realize anything and everything can and eventually will be used to by psychopaths for hate. That doesn’t make it acceptable to ban that thing its intended propose.
Doing so only justifies the Psychopath’s actions, and reinforces the claims of the very evil you hypocritically claim to oppose.
