Actually, if it’s post adolescent buggery of a male, the priest is a homosexual. If it’s preadolescent, then the charge is pedophilia. Since 85% of the victims were adolescent boys, the Church has a homosexual problem and not a pedophile problem, which is the angle pursued by the media and other people who hate the Catholic Church.
Ah, what is overwhelmingly ignored is who it is that has access to the prebusecent children that facilitates trust to make homo acts acceptable. Raised with the ‘holy father’ mantra to prebusecent boys is the freak pervert priest MO! Seriously what child would deny God? Then the reams of excuses to cloud over the multitudes of sins. I generally regard homosexuals to be a complete overlap with the group "pedophiles". If the abnormal act of buggering a man's @$$ is desirable to them, then why not a child's? They don't have normal on/off switches for their behavior.
Indeed, history shows us they have far too much proclivity for it. As a matter of fact, about 40% of homosexuals in one medical study I have seen, admit they were molested as children.
If you look up molestations in general, you will find that that 2% of the population accounts for ~40% of all molestations.
