The good pastor wasn't killed by the Confederate Flag. He was killed by a lunatic. The Confederate Flag has absolutely nothing to do with Roof's crime. 99% of all Southerners are sickened by that act, even those in favor of flying the flag... in favor, because they recognize that in flying it, they are merely honoring the brave people of the South who died in that awful war.

That doesn't mean that they are going to be inspired by the Stars and Bars to pick up a gun and start shooting up churches full of black people next week. In fact, the very notion that they might is just plain idiotic. Why would they?

Ask the Left: Are you going to ban everything a lunatic likes or believes in, even if what he thinks the thing stands for is pure delusion, the twisted imaginings of a ranting madman? If so, prepare for some of your most cherished symbols, institutions and traditions to be banned as well.
