The Media blew up the Flag issue because probably Odumbasscare will be ruled unconstitutional. gay marriage hope it is ruled unconstitutional, but whatever will cause someone to get angry. this 4th of July will probably be riots in the streets!

This is quite brilliant. I have fought the battle in classrooms for 30 years (retiring next year), and not without effect. I constantly get students write me saying they recall the lessons, are running for office, are leaders in their communities. Probably too few, but it's something.
This article offers a remarkable analysis of the radical individualization of our society. In arguing that the "old" forms of community action/leftist organizing aren't working, he DOESN'T say that the alternative is if the people turn around, the only direction they can head is back toward traditional forms of organizing---but that defeats them as well because most of that "traditional collective action" comprises churches, fraternal organizations, parades---all the stuff that works against the left.
I believe there is much merit to this idea ...
What I sense is that the effort is to get the Confederate flag made into a private or museum historic piece.

In the documentary “The Civil War” by (ugh) Ken Burns, there’s a lovely comment by Shelby Foote on meeting the direct relatives (sisters?) of NBF and swinging his sword around...truly charming as well as humorous (their opinion of Lincoln)...

I got pillaged on Twitter for suggesting that next up will be Confederate flag tatoos. Then what? I was in Kroger and noticed they had “U.S.M.C.” t-shirts. Well, how long before THAT “symbol of oppression” has to be removed? Then USMC tatoos?
I don't know, just caught the "we won" phrase. I was just curious to what he was referring to as I didn't catch his whole spiel while tuning into Fox...we'll have to wait and see.

May not be today for SSM or Ocare. Opinions will also be released tomorrow and Monday.
I think ObamaCare will be rule contrary to the ACA law, that subsidies are limited to state exchanges.
Wouldn’t surprise now that the GOP has telegraphed they are happy to amend Obamacare.

SCOTUS Blog say 2 ‘opinion boxes’ today...cvould mean 3 or 4 opinions to be released.
If the SCOTUS does as suspected they will do, the pubbies won’t have much choice about doing something. It was making rounds last few days that Scotus will rule against subsidies except in states with exchanges, but that they’ll stay implementation of the order for a year or so to give transition time. The idea is that the people who are getting subsidies are not the ones to blame because Congress screwed up.
IOW, the pubbies will have to decide how to run the exchanges for an entire year even though they’re illegal.
Two boxes of decisions/orders will be opened in 4 minutes.
Obamacare ruling will come first, in my opinion, before the same sex marriage ruling which will probably be Monday.
