My first vanity post ever.
I woke up this morning and found the Supreme Court has again ignored the clear wording of the law to uphold Obamacare.
I also hear that the IRS has destroyed the backup tapes for the Lerner emails. Not a peep of concern or outrage from anyone.
More and more, I think back to a "futuristic" public service announcement which ran on TV in my area (Hawaii) in the 1988 elections, showing what would happen to the country if people didn't stay engaged and vote.

The first Roberts decision on Obamacare was to me the equivalent of Dred Scott or Plessy v. Ferguson.
The Court said Obamacare was illegal, because Congress did not have the power to pass it under the Commerce Clause.
Then in the next breath Roberts said they could still enforce the illegal law against citizens by using the Taxing Power.
If the Taxing Power can be used this way, then the power of government over your life is limitless.
Make up your mind.

Since Obamacare is now “woven into the fabric of America” per The Dear Leader, I think it’s time for me to become a Ward of the State.
Of course, the “Suepreme” (sic - on purpose) Court apparently has no idea what constitutes the “State” when it appears in Congressional Legislation, but I digress.
Exactly what have I worked for all these Years? Obamacare Premiums are draining my IRA, I’m paying for the Healthcare of any lazy SOB who can dial an Obamacare Phone Number and now we have Illegal Invaders not only getting “free” Healthcare, they are qualifying for Thousands of Dollars going back Years from the ridiculous EITC even though they haven’t paid any Income Taxes.
It seems that I can no longer afford to pay for the Generosity of the Federal Government. Maybe it’s time to see if the Grass is Greener on the other side.
Of course I will have to rid myself of every Asset I have attained through my 45 Years of Hard Work before I embark on the road to becoming another Gibsmedat, but the Government seems to be doing a pretty good Job of accomplishing that for us already.
It appears the only Suckers left are the People that File their Income Taxes, pay the Piper and don’t get Tax Refunds by not paying any Income Taxes thanks to the EITC.
Apparently, the EITC crowd also makes out thanks to Section 8, EBT, Medicaid and God knows how many Welfare Programs the Federal Government has in place.
Time for us Suckers to Unite and Bleed the System Dry!
