I’m pretty sure the only thing she was ever wrong about was Romney.
makes total sense.
Leftist appointees, such as ginsberg, sotomayor and kagan have their obvious leftist bona-fides. Its obvious for all to see, and its why they were selected by Clinton and Obama.
For some reason it seems Republicans are still scarred from Kennedy’s assassination of Robert Bork.
Hey, aren’t there “Rules” around here?
Ann bump.
To add fuel to Ann’s analysis, we have about 30 minutes before his vote for gay marriage is announced.
The guy is a closet gay hence blackmailable as a married man which is what I think is exactly the case. JMO...
There were some FREEPERS who warned others about him too, but of course they were called RINOs and other nasty names. When some love a person, there is no constructive criticism allowed. That has been a trend on many politicians until it is found out that those criticizing was actually right but by then it is too late.
No. It may seem like a minor quibble, but "republican appointees to the supreme court", like ALL appointees to the supreme court, are supposed to be on the side of the United States Constitution. Very often that is the same thing as being "on our side (the side of republicans)", but not always. However, the fact that our politicized supreme court is quite often NOT on the side of the Constitution is a major source of our current troubles.
With that out of the way, yes, Ann Coulter was definitely right about Roberts.
A white male who did pro bono work for homosexual activists. Really, not a tough call here.
Maybe if she hadn’t behaved so irrationally about Harriet Myers, we WOULD have a conservative on the Supreme Court. Maybe not, but her behavior during this period was insane.
I heard her on the radio this morning. She is in love with Romney. There is no other explanation for her to keep pushing him when he is not even running and he is such a phony baloney. Has to be love.
Ann was also right about the rise in mob mentality from the left...she is right about most things and fearless in her fight for freedom. She has a unique ability to cut through all the liberal crap and force them to see just how ugly they are...that is why they hate her so...
Yes she did. Alito was a great appointment. Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan.... not so good (I know, I understate!).
put me in the “love her” category.
i know she gets a bad rap on here, but i find her wit, humor, and ability to fluster and outrage libtards to be very entertaining. even if she’s not a 100% scoring ACU conservative, she’s fighting the good fight.
she’s easy on the eyes too. ;)
one last thing... Ann’s article once again reminds us all what a complete fool Dubya was. those Bushes routinely snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. yet another reason to run for the hills if the fix is in and Jeb gets the nomination. no matter how easily he should be able to beat hillary or bernie, he’ll find a way to shoot himself in the foot and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
>> When she’s right, she’s super-duper right. <,
Dozens of FReepers had declared Ann to be virtually a “non-person” just a few years ago. Now she has again attained the status of heroine. Wonder of wonders!
I did not know or remember Miss Coulter’s warning.
I do remember Howard Phillips and Jerry Falwell warning about Sandra Day O’Connor; B. M. Goldwater had some choice words for his old supporter, Falwell, and they weren’t AZ nice. AZ has some of the worst pols.
If a president of either party wants to nominate a judge with a particular judicial philosophy, they could pretty easily find federal judges who've been on the bench for ten or more years, and find judges with the judicial philosophies they prefer.
The Dims sure know how to do it. Add to that that the Republicans are too cowardly or too stupid to 'Bork' extreme nominees of the Dims, and we get the kind of court we've had for years.
SCOTUS could have been turned conservative by either Bush, had that been their intent.
