Stop Blaming the Supreme Court
Vanity | 6/26/15 | LRoggy

Stop blaming the Supreme Court and start looking ourselves in the mirror. The path forward is clear . . . until we regain control of the education of our kids and clean out the progressive influence throughout it we are screwed.

Young conservatives out there . . . major in education and become teachers

Conservative Parents . . . volunteer for the PTA and infiltrate the younger grade apparatus

Republican governors . . imitate Walker and start to take on tenure

Run for school boards all over the place and reject the leftist textbooks.

Focus on secular conservative ideas to start. Shoving religious dogma will not work at first. You need to inculcate liberty, freedom and personal responsibility in the educational materials first. it's time to utilize Alinsky on our side. Pick a simple target and go after at. For example, call this president a crook for his real estate deal with Rezko and for Michelle's salary tripling because of an earmark when Obama was in the Senate. Repeat it 10 million times until EVERYONE you know also knows it.

Talk about nothing else.

Stop sitting on our asses and complain because we didn't get our way or wait for Jesus to reappear. The other side did all the heavy lifting the last 30 years and look where we are now.

It doesn't matter if our ideas are superior if we don't fight for them.

I wouldn’t attribute it all to laziness. Conservatives just aren’t programmed to use government in the same way as liberals.

This is a small, and maybe not relevant example, but look at gun control efforts after a massacre. Its obscene to be pushing an agenda, using a pile of dead bodies as a base. Conservatives just flat would never do that. And we generally are squeamish about leveling false character charges (like the liberals do with ‘hate’, ‘racism’, etc.) in order to push an agenda.

Really, I don’t know of anything a liberal wouldn’t do to push an agenda. Its all ends justifying the means with them. Its no holds barred, go for the neck, constantly.

Yes we have a lot of work to do, and have to be less afraid to get ‘dirty’...I just don’t think its all laziness.

True.

They'll be controlled or purged. There is a better and quicker way.

I feel the seed for both gay marriage and Obamacare began with Bush and his inability to defend the Iraq war properly. No matter how just the war was, I feel its hatred contributed to loss of both of the house and the senate in 2006 and Obama two years later.Obama got two appointments for the supreme court, which the Rinos pushed right through.

While it’s certainly very, very late in the game, this under 6 minute video explains WHY we’re headed straight toward the rocks of totalitarianism. The goal of the “progressives” (aka COMMUNISTS) who captured academia decades ago is made clear around 4:47 in.
Unless and until the few SANE ADULTS still residing in America get a handle on the intellectual rot and corruption in the educational system here – from Pre-K right up through the colleges and universities – WE. ARE. DOOMED!!!

Well said. Plus, the left is Alinskying the American people every day. Only 20% of Americans identify themselves as liberals while twice as many identify themselves as conservatives.

Problem is, liberals dominate many of places of influence including most importantly, the media, even at the local levels, being a big part of that. Part of Alinsky is looking like you are a bigger force than you really are. The medias and their minions do a very good job of this. The answer is to stop patronizing their advertisers and let the avertisers understand why. In the long run, the statism the left represents today is damaging to those businesses as more and more big government hurts free enterprise. Many medias do not have their advertisers best interest at heart but they are willing to take their money. We also need to get the whole media establishment out of the control of just a few boardrooms. The medias can be defeated in this country if more and more people realize they are nothing but propaganda outlets for the left and hurt them where it really counts.

I realized the local medias are the enemies of our freedoms and liberties the day they treated the death of the evil George Tiller as a martyr and a saint to their cause. I haven’t patronized their advertisers since.

I’ll keep blaming those fag-loving megalomanical black-robbed pieces of shite, thank you very much.

But you make some good points, libtard public education is this country’s #1 problem.

“Unfortunately, the only way for things to get better is for a war, bringing a vast vast amount of bloodshed.”

One good thing about it, when your choices are limited it makes it much easier to choose. I’m too old to change so I choose to die with my boots on. Bring it!!

When you mentioned local media and Tiller in the same sentence, I realized we might actually be in the same media market....or at least close (I’m in Topeka).

The thing with local media, that I have discovered, is that most are phenomenally dumb. And I really mean that. I watch them report on fairly complex local issues, and its just painful. And I’m batting a thousand with this - every time I have personal knowledge of a news story, I find errors in the reporting. It could be a name, a title, a place of employment....anything. These are small details, but they demonstrate just how fundamentally stupid these local reporters are. They can’t keep anything straight.

Now the part of local news that I dislike the most is national agenda reporting. The local newscaster will report that some people have some grievance (can’t pay for healthcare for example), and say “Jane Doe has the story” - and then we see a 2 minute canned segment that is not local at all. Its obviously been put together by CBS headquarters and pushed to the local stations...who never tell the viewer that it isn’t a local story. Instead, they are acting like Jane Doe is a local reporter, who put the story together in their own newsroom that afternoon. Its absurd.

Anyway, being Topeka, I have a prediction for tonight’s news - They will have a reporter at the rainbow house, microphone in hand. Some gay activist will praise today’s ruling, the feed will cut back to the newsroom, and the anchor (with a big grin on his face) will close it out with a quip from Obama about this giving people more freedom.

Yeah, I’m not too far from you.

To me, it seems each election cycle the local medias get worse and don’t even hide their bias towards liberals and democrat candidates. It’s like in the last election, Orman was pretty much exposed as being a liberal democrat in independent clothing and barely a mention of this from the local medias. You rarely saw any coverage of Orman’s bad business dealings. I had to go outside of our locals to get that info.

Even during the election, a federal judge in Wichita chided Orman and his lawyers for not being prepared in a lawsuit brought against him and his company and not one ounce of coverage of this from any of the Wichita media. It was Breitbart that covered it. It seems the only counter to our media is the Republican candidates themselves when they issued statements. Then if there is anything that resembles Republican controversy and it’s all over the local news for days. There is no balance of news coverage and they are just as bad as the national media if not worse.

If anyone wants to get mad at the situation this country is in, just take a good look at the medias and their constant bias and distortion and take it out on their pocketbooks.

I don’t disagree. But most on our side don’t have the stomach to play by Alinsky rules.

Ignore the whiny naysayers who cry all the time. We would be better served if we handed them over to the democrats so they can drag them down instead of clinging to our ankles.

Indeed! But what if these types are really Democrats, masquerading as Conservatives?

Good suggestions but...the pols who say they are conserv are always outvoted and frankly, legislation trumps all this idealism. That is why libs win. They lie, put forward absurd un-Const. ideas and then get the jurists to approve. The conservs sit quiet; too many people on the Right just give up and stay ....peaceful. While the Left never rests till it makes America, a 3rd world worker’s paradise.

Here here, I think Jefferson said it best, “A people get the rulers they deserve”. Too long we have given up the playing to the left.

All this could be stopped in less then a month.

How, massive demonstrations through out the country, shut down every thing

A quote of my own, “A people unwilling to use extreme violent force to obtain or preserve their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule them”
