Americans feelwith a good deal of justificationthat the political establishment has been serving them poorly for roughly the last quarter-century. Policy has generally been driven by a need to give instant gratification to the 24-hour news cycle at the expense of solving long-term problems. Weve run three monetary bubbles, all of which were fun while they lasted; two ended badly, and the establishment is promising the third time is the charm. Abroad weve gone from being the Cold War victors to being in retreat on all fronts; there is no country on the planet where we are more respected today than we were 5 years ago, 10 years ago, or 25 years ago.

serving them poorly?
I guess that’s one way to describe out and out betrayal.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

“Anti-establishment” can only mean “Conservative.”

Policy has been driven by leftwing ideologues and statist bureaucrats, crypto-commies who've been running a two card monte scam on the American people.

The new establishment is the Left Yep. And their first order of business is making sure that it doesn't matter how we vote.

I see no evidence of this

I would have to see a sharp spike in votes for third-parties before believing that a significant number of people are “fed up” with the current system. As it is, they seem quite satisfied to endorse the current uniparty state.

Correct in the analysis that 24/7 news channels are really infortainment and propaganda outlets and have done much to ruin our country.

Washington has become a self sustaining nuclear reactor which will change any fuel going in to a molecular match to what they all can agree on. No matter what goes in, or who loads it into the process, the output is the same.
Look at the USSC and Roberts. He altered the fuel to match what was an acceptable output to those in power. It can't be stopped short of tearing down the system and starting over. Of course Jefferson thought that was always a good choice if those in power ran astray.

..will culminate in a Civil War. China will invade at that point. Game over. I have no faith in the U.S. military to fend off China/Russia/Iran assault under CIC Odungo. As a matter fact, HE’LL WELCOME IT.

As a matter fact, HELL WELCOME IT. He'll say it restores balance to the world.

Stopped reading it in 2008. Won't even click the link.

"Voters Are Tilting Anti-Establishment"
Not trying to be a smart*ss, but which voters? The illegal immigrants being granted amnesty? I think not. The minority voters who have been brainwashed into fighting non-existent "white privilege"? I think not! The hard core liberal voters who want a communist revolution? Nope! The undecided who have no moral foundation and will take whoever gives them a free handout? Not a chance!
Who does that leave? Only the 20 or so percent of conservative voters who lament for our country...

We are a hell of a lot more than 20% or so as you claim. The media will have you believe that almost half the country is queer when in fact it is not even 1%.

It is not the sodomites that I am concerned about. It is those who support the Sodomites. This crowd is growing every day because of Hollywood, socialist indoctrination in schools and Universities, our politicians, etc.
