Ann Coulter joins Board of Gay Conservative Group GOProud

Pundit Ann Coulter has joined gay conservative group GOProud as Honorary Chair of its Advisory Council, the group announced today:
Coulter’s official title will be “Honorary Chair and Gay Icon.” “Ann Coulter is a brilliant and fearless leader of the conservative movement, we are honored to have her as part of GOProud’s leadership,” said Christopher Barron, Chairman of GOProud’s Board. “Ann helped put our organization on the map. Politics is full of the meek, the compromising and the apologists – Ann, like GOProud, is the exact opposite of all of those things. We need more Ann Coulters.”
“I am honored to serve in this capacity on GOProud’s Advisory Council, and look forward to being the Queen of fabulous,” said Coulter.
Coulter joins Margaret Hoover, Grover Norquist, Andrew Breitbart, Liz Mair, Chuck Muth, Lisa De Pasquale, Christian Josi, Roger Stone, Andrew Langer, Kathryn Serkes and Bob Carlstrom on the GOProud Advisory Council.

They don’t like her book about the illegals. That’s taboo. It’s the plan, flood the country with illegals. NBC is dropping Trump for the same reason.
This article makes absolutely no freaking sense. Put aside whether you buy into the ravings of a liberal Salon lunatic writer. The last paragraph talks about how its good that people are ignoring Coulter but the headline says that the reason is terrifying. No coherence.
Her immigration book is on the New York Times hardback nonfiction bestseller list. I wish I'd lost enough audience to accomplish that.
I do not know about some here being in love with Sarah Palin. I can only speak to what I see. I have not seen that. Regardless, we are merely posters on a forum and she has fame and real publicity behind her. There is a big difference.

Bottom line, what Ann Coulter is doing now with her book is great. She is getting the taboo demographic issue into the mainstream discourse And the demographic issue is the number one issue because all others revolve around it.
Ann preaching against illegals while backing Romney is like Swaggart preaching about the sins of lust after being caught banging a hooker.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Coulter, myself. I don’t subscribe to the argument Digby is making, but I do think Coulter is a bit of a carny in the way she operates.
That bugs me, because Ann Coulter is a very smart, very well-educated woman, and is capable of making good arguments for her positions. Too often, though, (again, IMHO) she focuses on getting people’s goat and riling up the press instead of making those arguments.
True, it’s a tactic that, up until recent times, has worked very well for her in getting plenty of press, selling plenty of books, and landing choice guest appearances. Ann’s made quite the career (and fortune) by repeatedly poking the left (and the bulk of MSM media) in the eye.
Unfortunately, it’s also made her come off as the right-leaning equivalent of Janeane Garafolo in some instances. Garafolo, of course, is a genuine idiot who really believes the tripe she espouses as political philosophy. Coulter is not stupid in any way, shape, or form. But the point holds that Coulter has spent a lot of time engaging in that same sort of verbal bomb-throwing, and I think it’s ultimately undermined her seriousness and legitimacy as a conservative voice.

Huge Ann Coulter fan. Love her books, love her wit. Don’t understand her relentless shilling for Romney, but hey: nobody’s perfect.
No one is perfect. She has her unique biases-—and that is fine if debate of ideas is allowed.
It is when people like her are shut down-—and that is called controlling the allowed Words and Language which is nothing but a type of Mind Control-—that is what all this dog and pony show is about: to control the correct perceptions of the masses.
Anytime Truth is stated, and Coulter is truthful here—it HAS to be shut down by the Leftists. I don’t care about when she was wrong, move on-—because she was willing to discuss it openly. All people are wrong sometimes. Even Hamilton, but she should be allowed to speak, if she is proclaiming the truth and in this case she is, and her book proves it. Only discussion of all ideas leads to the truth.
All history has people who try to proclaim Truth and are killed, like Jesus or Socrates or Cicero or St. Paul or McCarthy or MLK, jr. JFK jr.——why? Ideas MATTER!!! Truth will set you Free. It is extremely dangerous, so it HAS to be shut down by Leftists (Sound bites is how they control the masses) and the people with the “good” ideas are vilified or killed or whatever.

They are nothing but puppets of the elite sodomites in Hollywood who are raping the boys and trying to destroy virtue formation in our children which all toxic environments do.
