That reminds me of a man who was not from Birmingham and was near the airport, can’t remember if he was waiting for his wife’s flight or what, but he went a few blocks up the road and decided to wash his car and was murdered in the car wash.

The area where the attempted car-jacking happened was one of the original white flight areas of Center Point, about 10 to 15 miles from the city center.

Then Section 8 happened and now that once pristine area is worse than Birmingham itself. I’d feel safer walking down a street in downtown Bham than I would the back side of Center Point.

But the gangs are out of control in Bham, in all the areas around there including the once safe Hoover. Last Saturday at 6:30 p.m. two armed gang bangers robbed a Jet-Pep right across the street from the biggest and busiest mall in the state of Alabama.

The Birmingham News has a total blackout against writing about organized gang crimes and they very rarely investigate or use Facebook photos of these young gangsters holding guns.

But the minute a white politician’s son is arrested for DUI or something like that, they will raise his Facebook account and write about ten articles over two weeks.

And the homosexual stuff, they just never stop with that. (One of their main editors is a lesbian.) But people quite buying the paper so much that they were forced to only publish 3 days a week and sell their large building and move into a much smaller one. They’ve laid off about 40% of their staff in the past few years since the all-gay, all the time movement started.

Oh I agree totally on the death of major papers in Alabama. Birmingham and Huntsville now only publish three days a week. Neither can sustain any profit and need to utilize mostly national news to fill up their columns. Most people have given up totally, and rely upon local network news journalists. It’s almost comical how the views of the guys or gals running the newspaper business in the state have given up and just sell gimmick-news.

As for Birmingham....if you go back to around 2011...they had a guy who was down in the city for some contract repair work and took his car over to a local car wash to clear it on some Saturday morning. Got shot dead there in the car wash.

Being from the state....I’d say it’s the most corrupted place you could possibly imagine. These guys in Birmingham were bankrupt....yet asking for hundreds of thousands to fly like fifty of their folks to some national city conference for a week, in Alaska back three years ago. Totally broke, and they were still trying to spend money that didn’t exist.

I guess I could simply accept that these people really want to destroy this nation, but they live here too.

This behavior on their part is unfathomable.

They should be able to see what is taking place in the communities around where they live.

At the same time, I realize they don’t live in the worst communities, but the crime leaves those communities and spreads out. Don’t they care about their families or friends and their families?

Just really strange. These people are cultists...

By a not very remarkable coincidence, the Birmingham News is owned by the same tribe (in this case they call themselves “Advance Publications”) who own the uber-liberal rag in Harrisburg, PA that isn’t going to print any viewpoints that dare oppose the glorious march of Organized Faggotry:

“His (Cooley was her dad) 16-year-old daughter said the family didn’t always agree with his lifestyle, but said she is heartbroken over the loss of her father. “He was one of the sweetest men, and he was really, really funny,’’ she told AL.com. “He taught me to be happy and to think about others. If I needed anything, I could call him.”

“We watched movies together and he taught me how to do math equations, which is why I’m good at Algebra. He taught me how to save money, and I promised him I would go to college,’’ she said. “The last thing he said to me was, ‘God I love you so much, you don’t even know how much.’ I told him I loved him too.”

How sad. : (
