It wasn’t dumb....since he lost. As such, none of the carnage of the past several years can be because of that. But yes, he stinks more today than he did in 2012——and while most people do not remember, he stunk in 2012 a lot more than he did in 2008, He was well right of McCain in that cycle.......but he’s been back sliding ever since....
Thank God tens of millions of voters convinced him to stick around and haunt us with his conservatism.
