Mittens Romney is an authority on what “hurts” the GOP, himself included.

No, Mitt ... your rejection of conservative, constitutional, AMERICAN principles have hurt the Republican Party.

Worse, they have damaged AMERICA.

Then why did Romney want them all to leave? This being afraid to offend a Mexican who is here illegally, is frightening.

See, what is amazing about this is that the whole event NOW has the Republicans arguing publicly with each other.

Who benefits?

Hitlery.

Bernie.

The rest of the morons in the Demon Rat party.

If the Republicans were smart, they would begin focusing on what Trump said that is accurate. Or, if that is a bridge too far for them, focus on what the Demon Rats have said in the past—and how wrong Demon Rats have been.

Instead, somehow, Republicans are in a circular firing squad while the Demon Rats dance in delight.

Probably because they’re running out of ways to prop up Jeb.

Well his apologists told us that principles were bad/didn’t matter. And 2 years later they are still making excuses for him.

It’s not intellectually honest to say that you either must ALWAYS vote for an unsavory candidate under the lesser of evils scenario....nor is it honest to say you NEVER should vote for such a candidate.

Matter of degree comes into this equation. You know, Obama is SOOO bad that it may be worth having a moderate Republican instead. I’m not saying that’s necessarily correct or not, but it is a reasonable position. Having Thad Cochran win in Mississippi? That’s one I’d rather the Dems win. They’re ALL different. You have to go case by case.

And it’s certainly idiotic to say that those who voted McCain / Romney in the last general elections are at fault. They didn’t win. Had they won, I’m sure they would have done some stupid stuff that would have had a lot of folks second guessing.

This either or extreme is just a childish lack of understanding...and some on this forum, though not you two, are eaten up with this.

The RINOs do not even realize they are being used by the MSM as setup props. Dumb bastards whoring to the socialist meme of diversity.

Does Mitt support Sanctuary Cities?

You’d think he would be a little more savvy than this.

Why is Romney now all over the media? Is he now an expert or something? Good grief! The man deliberately blew his presidential candidacy. Who would listen to him?

Low-information Republican voters, of course! They're the majority of GOPe supporters (the majority of GOP voters, actually).

"Whoa! You just hear what Romney said about Trump?"

Wife: "Romney? Didn't we vote for him?"

"Yeah! He said Trump's hurting the GOP!"

"Bummer. But Jeb's still good, right?

"Oh, yeah! Jeb's the man!"

You assume incorrectly there are still 2 actual parties.

The GOP is a pressure relief valve to stop conservatives from gaining power. Period.

That’s okay. If our side can’t hand off their watch to another president and have it be a person better than Obama, then something terribly wrong has taken place on that watch.

The Republicans had been so thoroughly discredited by the Bush years, that to the public even Obama was preferable.

That isn’t my fault. It’s my duty to realize what we are doing to ourselves, and stop playing along.

I have.
