A transgender teen faced tough years in wake of Proposition 8
San Jose Mercury News ^ | 07/02/2015 | Jack Roach

I was a sophomore in high school when the same-sex marriage question hit California ballots. Having spent my entire life up until that point in a Bay Area-bred bubble of positivity (later deemed the 'queer bubble' by my Maine-born best friend), I naively believed Proposition 8 would fail without much backlash.

Talk about a rude awakening.

I have watched in frequently-silenced sorrow as so many activist organizations and news outlets focused all of their energy on the fight for marriage equality while ignoring the myriad of other issues plaguing the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and other) community.

LGBTQIA+? Give me a freakin' break!

He needn’t have worried. Our fascist government wouldn’t let the voters’ opinions and beliefs sway their determination to destroy normalcy.

“LGBTQIA+”

Plus anyone else we can think of to boost the ranks of the victim class.

A mass mental illness is sweeping the nation.

The outpouring of hate sent 16-year-old Jack into a state of shock.

We cannot allow the far left bigots to define words for us. Opposing same-sex "marriage" is not hate. Allowing gays to pretend that their version of "marriage" has any connection to the real thing is hate.

Only 3.+% are actually LGBT however due to media emphasis on gay issues the myth of 15% LGBT lives on. They are organized, they bully their elected and lobby for more than their 'fair share' what ever that is. School Boards, Unions, and politicians fear the LGBT Mafia. Like saying anything against Obama, you're a racist...with the LGBT you are labeled homophobic or worse.

Whenever it was that government decided to become involved in the sex lives of its citizens....FOR VOTES... it is now time to turn the knob, pull the plug, switch off this obsession with other-people's sex lives.

A WARNING to all candidates for public office: Our Constitution says NOTHING about, or refers to, or even mentions SEX in any form. Don't try to make up things to get votes. The Roberts Court will be remembered for this and little else....those nits put their pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us......

And those awful Muslims think America is a decadent, trivial, spoiled nation of immoral idiots. How could they get that idea?

LGBTQIA+... with the A for asexual.

Isn't that over-reaching a bit? If one is asexual, why would one give a hoot about all of this confused rainbow crap? Your needs are met, nobody cares.

It wasn't just the gay activists who won last week. It was everyone on earth who has argued that this is a decadent nation undeserving of a place of influence in the world.
