Cruz: Trump’s Bold Focus On Immigration Exposes Gop ‘Washington Cartel’ Attitude
Breitbart ^ | 7/5/2015 | Pam Key

Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Republican presidential candidate Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96% said Donald Trumps comments about Mexico sending it’s criminals to the Untied States were “bold” and “brash,” but put a needed focus on the many Republicans who support the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street’s cheap labor immigration push. “I am a passionate advocate for legal immigrants,” Cruz said. “I am the son of an immigrant who came legally from Cuba and I’ll tell you, from the day I started campaigning I traveled the state of Texas talking about how all of us, we are the children of those who risks everything for freedom, that immigrant experience of all of us is what makes us Americans, because we value in our DNA liberty and opportunity above all else. Now when it comes to Donald Trump, I like Donald Trump. he’s bold, he’s brash.

You're right about that "inner Wisconsin liberal coming out."

He, Walker, tried walking on all sides in the debate when Indiana passed their religious freedom guarantee - then hastily pulled back when Apple and Angie's List heads rushed out to scream "hate.'

I too have liked Walker but I guess I don't really trust him as I've watched him try to take all sides on some serious social questions.

I'm watching very closely on various "wiggle room" answers like "compassionate conservative," which really stood for liberal-lite on big government!

There always has been only one conservative candidate, Cruz.

None of the other candidates are conservative, including Trump.

What makes trump worse than them is that he is specifically lying directly to conservatives in an attempt to illustrate himself as a conservative, which he is not, never has been and never will be.

He is an opportunist.

You think it’s voters giving the politicians money to say what they want them to say?

Voters are pushing this?

Perry’s supporters? Everyday Texans?

“in the fullness of time, his non conservatism will surface again and sort of embarrass those who are ready to coronate him”

I had a lot of fun with bleach-blonde sorority girls, having no intention of marrying one. Stop worryin’ Ma, school ain’t over yet.

Setting aside my conviction that the next election is not going to be a traditional election of President, I begin to think that Trump and Cruz ought to be the ticket., with Cruz at the top.

You could actually see the host taking direction from the Democrat War Room just off camera.

“Hammer the 11 million!”
“Hammer the 11 million!”

Katie failed.
Chuck failed.

Ted stands his ground and makes the host look like a fool - every time.

You may very well be be rightright about Trump, but Cruz has hot taken on the illegal invasion near as forthrightly as Trforthrightlty as Trump. And of course I considerconsider Cruz’s position on immigration questionable due to his strong internationalist neveinternationaliat leanings.

At this point Trump has taken point taken on this issue.

I think Trump will use social media to keep up the pressure just like he did regarding the SF case.

The Donald is far from above saying “see I told you so”.

And he is likely to aggregate the numbers. People would be shocked if they knew just how many violent crimes are committed by previously deported illegals.

Exactly how I feel. What goes on in the character of an individual that can vote to kill and innocent baby in the womb yet think that they are capable of correcting the evils in our nation? Trump is a businessman first. As a result, he’s used to dealing in terms of “me first” and that, in the end may turn out to be not what’s best for the nation. I like what he’s doing now and saying now - but I don’t trust him. I’m still holding out for Cruz. He has also demonstrated who he is and I like what I see. I just don’t know if he’ll make it to the debates. If he does, I think he will shine (and kick butt)!

The difference is Trump has never claimed to be a conservative.

The rest of the clowns, except Cruz have been lying to Americans
claiming to be conservatives, when in fact, they are fake conservatives.

Has Trump lied to you so far?

What do you mean Trump has never claimed to be a conservative?

I have heard Trump say that he is a conservative republican in a few interviews since his announcement, and yes, anytime he says that he is a conservative, he is lying.

He has never been involved in conservative politics or done a single thing to advance or even help advance the conservative agenda or even aid the election of a single conservative candidate.

No, that was what we adults call “an example” - but I do believe that most money in politics is donated to people who already believe like the donor believes. Soros doesn’t give to Republicans to change them, he gives to Democrats who already thinks how he thinks.

And in this case, I think this is what, how Perry really believes. You know, like “heartless” from 2012 and so on.
