The man arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at San Francisco’s Pier 14 has confessed to the crime – though he said it was an accident.
In a jailhouse interview Sunday with KGO-TV’s Cornell Barnard, Francisco Sanchez, speaking in a mix of Spanish and English, said he had found the gun, wrapped inside a shirt, while he was sitting on a bench and smoking a cigarette at the pier. He had picked it up and “it started to fire on its own,” Mr. Sanchez said, adding that he has poor vision and was under the influence of sleeping pills when he shot and killed Kathryn Steinle.

So clearly HE is the real victim here! He only found the gun and it was an accident. What he needs is free tuition, room and board at one of the UC schools. And a car. Oh, and health care, with a dental plan.

Part of the story may be true. It was specifically left there for his special mission. This has all the hallmarks of a special operation.

No no he was out for a stroll on Pier 13 when the gun just “POP” suddenly went off for no reason and the bullet landed right slap in the damn white girls racist hateful heart!

Absolutely. I too believe this was a special operation, though I don’t expect the authorities to investigate it as such. They won’t investigate who he knows, who he’s been in touch with, who helped him across the border 5 times,who was in charge of his deportation cases, etc. He’ll plead guilty to manslaughter, or not guilty by reason of insanity, the authorities will agree, and the case will be closed. Neither the Feds, the state of California, nor the city of San Francisco, nor the mainstream media will look into it.
