Just asking— do you know of Nancy Reagan giving any public interviews undercutting her husband’s conservative message when he was running for office?

I remember during Iran-Contra, she stood by him and told him what to say when quizzed by a reporter. It was pretty clear that Nancy was closer to Betty Ford politically than to her husband. Or am I missing something? I can’t think of a conservative stand Nancy pushsed, but there may be one, other than “Just Say, No” to drugs.

Of course not she had a very good Psychic holding séance's to avoid this kind of thing. She just let her span do the dirty work in public.
