Donald Trump has surged to the top of 2 new 2016 polls

Donald Trump's position on immigration does not seem to be hurting the real-estate developer's standing in the Republican presidential primary.

Two new polls have him in first place among registered Republican voters.

The latest poll arrived Thursday. In the Economist/YouGov poll, Trump holds 15% of the Republican vote nationally — ahead of former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida (11%).

The good news for Trump doesn't stop there.

Really though? Does anyone here honestly think Trump will be the top of the ticket, or even on the ticket come next November?

And if the answer to that is no, then what in the hell are we doing?

The operative phrase is who are “WE”...
Polls are just gossip.. zero meaning.. rumor at best..
Disinformation at worst..

What we’re doing is clear. We sending a message to the lame-o RINO’s that Trump is speaking, saying and doing EXACTLY what we want to hear. He is making points that would even get Jeb or Christie elected, if only they had the cajones to say and believe them.

THAT’s what the hell we are doing.

While I agree with your sentiment. I can’t stop thinking of another joke named Jesse Ventura.

Forcing the Republican Party out of the tall grass and forcing them to take some stands.

This is bigger than trump. It’s about telling the truth in the face of liberal fascism and sticking to it. that takes guts.

And Trump has shown more courage in all of this (with the exception of Ted Cruz) than the entire cowardly republican party combined over the last 10 years (at least).

Whoever the republicans nominate get their Sh** straight on illegal immigration or many of us will not vote for them.

We gave them a majority and they have done NOTHING with it. Time to act or go away and let somedbody else take their place.

Donald Trump doesn't do anything half way. He's the one taking a hit to his fortune, while the others grovel to deep-pocket donors. So, yeah, he'd be a real good President. If it's even possible to still save the US, we need a force of nature in there, an "American Putin".

So, yeah, I could see it. You know what? So can the Republican establishment and the media thoughtmasters. Why else would they be trying so viciously to stop him before the debates?

Jebber, Christie, Rubio, Pataki are certainly not the answer.

Understood. That’s the logical conclusion. I guess the better question would have been WHY? Is Trump really serious? or is he just trying to bring one of those people you mention into line with his thinking so THEY get elevated?

I mean, gun to your head right now, will Trump be on the ticket? I’m not making that bet.

At this point in 2007, Giuliani and Clinton lead the polls by large margins. Did anybody think Obozo would be top of the ‘Rat 2008 ticket in July of 2007? It is a bit early to get too excited about polls.

I am glad he has shot to the top, but polls before debates, do not tell the tale.

Trump seems to be doubling down in the face of economic losses to him. A beacon of political incorrectness in the fog of MSM propaganda.

We are outing the RATS in the Republican Party...They are being asked questions they DON’T want to answer.

We are taking the issue to the American People without it being smoothed or PC termed to death or the Press hiding it.(Like the Crime wave created by Amnesty/Sanctuary City policies)

We are calling on Elected Officials to stand up and DO THE JOB THEY WANTED and said they would do.

You want to make an omelet, you’ve got to break some eggs!

BTW-It is MY opinion that Trump’s rise in the Polls is being created more by even Independents and Blue Dog Democrats agreeing with what he is saying.

Americans want the Criminals shipped back and the BORDER SECURED!

Trump has started a “national dialog” about illegals. Something that the Democrats, GOPe and MSM have sought to suppress for well over ten years. For that I am grateful to Trump.

Now Trump needs to talk about the black crime rate in America.

The POINT of this is....that Trump, by SPEAKING HIS MIND, and NOT adhering to the consultants "recommendations" and talking points, is gaining traction and support.

Continue to underestimate him and the point of his approach at your peril.

Who is the "we" you are referring?

And who has done that? Prince just issued a Fatwa telling Trump to shut up. (basically)

“Forcing the Republican Party out of the tall grass and forcing them to take some stands.”

Hell no. Trump will not be on the ticket. Nor would I support him if he was.

Trump is a useful idiot. What’s going on here is really no different than his “candidacy” in 2012. Then as now - Trump is all mouth.

And as long as he’s serving a useful purpose and making RINO’s, liberals and even Hillary squirm, then it all good.
