"Don't forget your beans."
I like beans: they’re inexpensive.
And who did he think should do this teaching, using what data as a foundation?
Our dog has hip dysplasia and the glucosamine makes a world of difference. Vet said no serious side effects. I trust the vet more than our people doctor!
Prayer for your wife’s recovery. I am scared of any herbal “mixes”, as opposed to one ingredient i can research. I’ve been told of some menopause herbs (yes, I’m an old lady) but am afraid of bad reactions.
Wow. Thanks for your prayers. Sorry for the silence; I gave my laptop to my wife so she wouldn’t go stir crazy.
So Bee vomit would be right out then?
Yep. Bee vomit is too sweet for my taste.
CATHERINE...warning...you are talking with a vile enemy of the free market - who wants the government to arrest people for the crime of “covetousness” - in the name of the Bible. This is the oddest duck around....fair warning.
Says you, C. Edmund Nebuchadnezzar!
*snicker*
Wow
Dangus, you must be very much like my don-o. Deep-down good at heart.
Thanks Lydia and everyone else who prayed. I had given my wife the laptop in the hospital so she wouldn’t go stir-crazy, so I have been pretty much off-line. GTG!
Yeah, that’s me!!
He’s one sick odd judgmental - and not very smart - duck.
>>Yep. Bee vomit is too sweet for my taste.
Honey is interesting stuff. I never knew the taste could vary so much till I met a vendor a few years at a county fair who had samples from all over the country. That got me interested and I started keeping bees myself.
The taste depends on the flowers the bees pollinate - as do allergic and anti-allergic effects from the pollen proteins therein.
Honey is has a long history of medicinal use. Bee venom is fascinating as well.
The Creator’s natural craftsmanship is full of complex organic chemistry... as pharmaceutical companies, and witch doctors, are aware.
>>I like beans: theyre inexpensive.
They’re the musically magical fruit.
The more you eat the more you toot!
{ as any boy-scout whose sung that song around the campfire can attest }
I’ve heard that many times: all six sons in Boy Scouts!
To put it simply, he did not see alternate treatments as a replacement for conventional medicine, but acknowledged that conventional treatment wasn’t always successful and that, in some instances, maybe naturopathic alternatives should be examined. That conversation was in the context of my ex-wife’s treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, which I mentioned in my original post.
As to whom should do the teaching, we didn’t discuss that issue specifically, but I would suppose that someone with extensive experience in naturopathic medicine and probably a doctorate would be a good candidate...
Prayers going up. As is with “Big Pharm” medicines, not everybody has a good reaction to herbal remedies.
My only negative reactions to herbals has been Aloe Vera juice and Bright Eye. Had a very severe case of hives.
