What a naive reply. Are you pretending not to know, or do you really not know the culture of fear and revenge Boehner and McConnell have fostered? When a small group of conservatives, who are anything but “in control,” attempts to revolt against Boehner and McConnell’s GOPe agenda, they are immediately and severely punished. That is what ‘being in control’ means to the corrupt Permanent Political Class leaders.
An example of this culture of revenge occurred just recently. Are you really positing that you are completely ignorant of it?

Steve Scalise not only voted lockstep with Boehner on TPA—he led the charge in “purging” conservatives who had defied Boehner. Since these things seem not to sink in with you, I’ll repeat it. Scalise was at the forefront in punishing conservatives who dared oppose the Boehner/Obama agenda.

There is nothing stopping any member of Congress from speaking about the Obama eligibility/natural born citizenship issue. For example, on most legislative days the House of Representatives has “Special Orders” which permit any member from speaking at extended length on any issue of concern. No one speaks on Obama’s eligibility or his qualifications to be a natural born citizen.

There is a concept which you seem simply incapable of grasping. Yet it is so simple. This concept is the culture of corruption. Our Permanent Political Class is mired in corruption. Why you cannot grasp this is inexplicable. The example I cited in my previous post should have been sufficient. It wasn’t enough for Boehner and his corrupt cohorts to ride roughshod over the base (in order to serve Obama’s purposes). They had to purge and punish the few reps who who actually did their constituents’ bidding. This is corruption on a scale and magnitude that defies description. It is off the charts.
Truth is the first casualty of corruption. Not only will people not do the right thing; they cannot even be honest about the problem/s.
For example, as a direct result of the actions of congress, the country is going down the toilet, and is either hovering at the point of no return, or has already passed it. How many reps have spoken about this? How many admit the country is on its last legs, and that we have congress to thank for being here?
While you stupidly focuss on the doctored LFBC, you fail to notice the hundreds of other urgent issues that are never addressed in special orders. You think the silence means the LFBC is the actual, authentic vault copy.
All it means is that D.C. is a fundamentally corrupt and dishonest cesspool.

While you demonstrate your lack of reading comprehension, I will remind you that my post mentioned “eligibility and qualifications to be a natural born citizen” and it said not one word about addressing the long form birth certificate (LFBC) in Special Orders.
Oh, I see. You believe any discussion of eligibility must exclude all reference to the LFBC. IOW, the eligibility discussion must take place in a fact and evidence-free vacuum.

There can be discussion in Congress of Barack Obama’s eligibility that involves the fact that his father was not a U.S. citizen, regardless of where Obama, II was born and there can be discussion of the process of confirming ANY winner of the popular vote’s Article II, Section 1 eligibility in the states, in the Electoral College and by Congress in accordance with the provisions of the 20th Amendment: “...or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.”
If John McCain had won the popular vote, there could have been discussion of his birth in the Panama Canal Zone (a Senate resolution co-sponsored by Obama was passed but there was no discussion of the issues) and if Mitt Romney had won the popular vote there could have been discussion of his father’s birth in Mexico.
None of those contingencies need involve discussion of any birth certificate.

It doesn’t matter who actually wrote it. Obama’s name is listed as author and he collected the royalties. That makes what’s in it his intellectual property regardless of whether there was a ghost writer or not.

If it makes you happy for me to revise my statement and say that “someone” wrote a book entitled “Dreams From My Father” in 1995 which is about the person bearing the same name as the person currently occupying the White House and acting as if he’s the 44th President of the United States, I’m happy to do that, just for you!

Yes, I can see where you would like to worm out of this with the ‘someone wrote the book’ truism. First, it’s a content-free statement, and you seem particularly fond of those.
But more importantly, it relieves you of the (for you) loathsome pressure of admitting Obama lies. Offhand, I don’t know of anything you hate more. You are deeply, profoundly invested in the belief that Obama is fundamentally honest. If backed totally to the wall with no wiggle room, iirc, you did once concede that all politicians lie, and Obama lies no more than average. But that was a very grudging admission, and conveyed no sense of conviction. I.e.: you didn’t say it like you really meant it.
All of which is to say that, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, you continue to believe Obama wrote Dreams. After all, if you were to admit he lied about something so crucial to the launching of his career, there’d be no telling what else he’s lied about...would there, NG?
