An Arkansas woman who went to pick up the class ring she ordered from Walmart left disappointed, after store officials told her the retailer's new policy barred them from turning the item over -- because it bore an image of the Confederate flag.
Elaine Glidewell told KFSM someone from the store in Fort Smith called her to pick up the ring she'd ordered for her nephew, but when she arrived on Tuesday, a clerk told her she couldn’t have it. The ring had been ordered before Walmart stopped selling items bearing images of the flag, in the wake of controversy that stemmed from a racially-charged shooting in South Carolina.
“I wanted to cry,” Glidewell told KFSM, adding that the store clerk said the ring would be "melted."

If she put down a deposit on the ring, Wal*Mart entered into a contract with the woman to pay the rest of the money and then pick up her purchase. The first payment cannot simply be refunded for Wal*Mart to own the ring. Wal*Mart has no title to the ring and cannot legally melt someone else’s property. Were I the woman, I would hire an attorney to point his out to Wal*Mart’s attorneys and to the people at the particular Wal*Mart store since failure to deliver the goods is theft. Depending on the value of the ring and state law, it could be a felony not to deliver the ring upon payment. Wal*Mart does not have the right to back out of any sales contract unilaterally. Wal*Mart employees do not have the unilateral right to seize someone’s property just because they do not like the log. The woman needs to get the name of the store manager AND the name of the employee who stole her property and file a complaint with the police department. It might be fun to see a few Wal*Mart employees cuffed, perp-walked, and book on the evening news.

Walmart is a sick company. They support the extreme left and things un-American. I know it won’t make a difference to them, but I will be driving out of my way to not shop there. This is the story to go to if you want to see black or white trash getting into fights. They also banned Paula Deen’s cakes. I forgot what was the reason but it was something that happened long ago and had no bearing on her cakes.
I want one of those.
Demand full refunds in cash immediately if the management declines beat the mother F****r to a pulp for being a thief.
