My experience is that Universities LOVE foreign students willing to pay higher out of state tuitions.
Except that is a paradox for their love of Mexicans who get a free ride basically.
Yes and they’ll reject in staters to make room for internationals. In staters basically told to go to community college now and then transfer.

This is the simple fact. The thought that today’s universities have ANY standards whatsoever when it comes to someone willing to pay is ludicrous.
Universities today do not care about anything except money - who will pay and how much and minimizing money “left on the table” when it comes to the shell game of tuition/room and board/fees.
Chinese students are perfect for todays university. They pay a premium, and since they are asian, you don’t have to cater to them like other minorities and pretend that they are special.
Absolutely, and not only out of state tuitions but full tuitions to cover all the money lost in affirmative action. Chinese and Arab students are being exploited to service our social welfare/diversity experiments.
The article sounds like an extension of the war on Asian students.
