Scott Walker made it official today, breaking the news that he is a Republican candidate in the 2016 presidential race first in a Facebook post this morning before a formal announcement event in Wisconsin later today.
I'm in. I'm running for President of the United States because Americans deserve a leader who will fight and win for them," the two-term Wisconsin governor says in the Facebook post, which includes a video in which he argues that his track record as governor sets him apart from the rest of the Republican field as a proven leader who has succeeded in winning elections and taking on big policy battles.

If you want funding, you must tow that line.
No exceptions.
Hope some more folks catch on to his hype. Thanks for your comments.
I hope he has. But the fact is a stubborn thing. Remember that he can pick and choose anything to be on his program and he's a human. Sometimes, friendships are more important. That's all.
Name a candidate that wouldn’t.
He’s talked about all of them, when they were in the headlines. The most current headliner is Walker.
I’ll name two. Trump and Cruz.
Racine, Madison and Milwaukee are Sanctuary cities. Dane County is a Sanctuary County. If he wants credibility on illegal immigration, he needs to clean up his own state.
Entertaining back and forth comments on this one.
That is absolutely FALSE about Cruz’s friend.
It is Walker and his family that vacation with and host parties with gays. You can read all about it at Tea Party Nation.
I don't think so.
You have to give them a path. You have 20 million, 30 million, nobody knows what it is. It used to be 11 million. Now, today I hear its 11, but I dont think its 11. I actually heard you probably have 30 million. You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed.
While Cruz has stated he does not support amnesty for illegals, he has called for a substantial increase in H-1B visas. This has been viewed by some as a sell out to donor powers.
Nobody is going to be squeaky clean on the issue.
So? Walker was still supporting amnesty a month before he changed his position earlier this year.
Trump now says, no path to citizenship, but if they are productive they an apply to work here legally. He is for deporting criminals and those on public assistance.
Personally, I’d like to see them all deported, criminals and welfare recipients first.
I think the GOPe establishment intend to use Dayspring to destroy Conservatives like Cruz in the race.
Scott Walker is in my top 3 of candidates...Cruz, Walker and LaPage (if he ran)
There are more IMPORTANT ISSUES than gay marriage...I’m worried about ISIS, abortion, taxes, the economy, gun rights, IRAN, China, Russia...
The only reason I mentioned Gay Marriage is because someone falsely stated that Cruz’s best friend is gay.
The larger issue in that matter is the threat to Religious Liberty, which is no small thing.
If you’re that insistent on being duped, you deserve the BOHICA moment when it inevitably happens.
Lol. You lie!!
I wonder if Scott walker will be the next in line to get thumped by Trump over his flip flop on dealing with illegal immigration.
Walker was for amnesty but now he is against it:
Walker stated that those who came here legally are first in line, but after that “if there is a way to set up a process so that you enable people to come in and have a legal pathway to do that, that’s something we’ve got to embrace.”
The only ones who have stuck to their position on being totally anti-amnesty is Cruz and one other person whom I shall not name.
