We are not allowed to exercise common sense, and say that the military is fundamentally different from civilian life. We are not allowed to say that someone who claims to be a woman trapped in a man’s body and all that, just may have “issues” which will prevent him from carrying out a military mission.
We are not allowed to say that someone who needs regular hormone shots or other medications are not fit for military service.
We are so politically correct, that this issue is presented as one of “civil rights” for trans whatever peoples, rather than an issue of what are the physical and mental qualifications needed for military service.
We are not allowed to say that, while trans-whatever people’s unique needs can be accomodated in civilian life, that they can’t be so accomodated in a combat zone.
Sad to say, the military mission suffers so we can bend over backwards to prove how liberal we are.

The word, “laughingstock” has never been so appropriate. I am ashamed at what my military is being turned into.

Friction impedes the operation of a machine. Coat the cylinder walls of an engine with grit and use no lubricants and see how the engine performs.
In a war, friction grinds on the army. It slows it down. It makes it use more resources to accomplish less. It increases anxiety and fear. It causes you to focus on the friction instead of using the machine (the army) for its purpose.
Putting friction into your enemy’s army is a strategy for victory. Slow them down. Make them divide their effort. Put them off their game.

The nation must decide on how important the military is. Right now, the Democrats are relying on large oceans and friendly neighbors to protect us while they pump the money that used to go to the military into programs that buy votes for Democrat politicians.
In the olden days of spears and swords, that might be OK.
If a nuclear weapon detonates in an American city, then firing squads must be used to correct the Democrat’s thinking.
