Yesterday, Hillary Clinton attacked Donald Trump at the annual La Raza convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
It was appalling to hear Donald Trump describe immigrants as drug dealers, criminals and rapists,” she said to the National Council of La Raza. “When people and business everywhere rejected his hateful comments, did he apologize? No. He doubled down. It is shameful and no one should stand for it… I have just one word for Mr. Trump… “Basta!” Enough!”
Today Donald Trump responded to Hillary’s remarks.
She is “desperate”, “sad” and “should spend more time producing her illegally hidden emails”:
Failing candidate Hillary Clinton, who is desperately trying to hold on to her lead in the democratic primary against Bernie Sanders, is knowingly putting out lies about my stance on illegal immigration. I said “Mexico is sending”— I’m not knocking immigration or immigrants, but rather am very critical of the country of Mexico for sending us people that they don’t want. Likewise I am very critical of illegal immigration and the tremendous problems including crime, which it causes.
She is desperate, she is sad, and she is obviously very nervous when she has to revert to issues that have already been settled given the absolute accuracy of my statement. She speaks about “my tone” and that’s the problem with our country’s leaders. They are more worried about tone than results! It’s not about being nice— it’s about being competent.
Hillary should spend more time producing her illegally hidden emails and less time trying to obfuscate a statement by me that is totally clear and obviously very much accepted by the public as true. I am honored, however, that she is attacking me, instead of Jeb Bush. Obviously she knows that JEB is no longer her real competition. The last person she wants to face is Donald Trump.

You’re not reading the subtext. Nobody stuck a stamp on them and shipped them to U.S, but it’s not hard to imagine that somebody took advantage of the situation and emptied out some prison, asylums and hospitals.
Truth is, most are refugees fleeing poverty, organized crime and it’s taproot into the political system.
One wonders if we’re compelled for humanitarian reasons to take Latin American refugees , does that give us legitimate cause to force change upon those countries they’re fleeing from?

President Reagan was once a democrat. But he was more a conservative democrat, which was why he switched parties decades before becoming president. And once he switched he never looked back nor did he say "I probably identify more as a democRAT" after he did.
Trump has been a lifelong LIBERAL and he still has liberal ideology in that he supports universal health care paid for with higher taxes among others.

The ones I've met are not misfits. I assume the examples you have sited where Mexico assists immigrants includes legal immigrants and the legal immigrants are not all misfits. I think Mexico believes Mexicans should have a right to come here and if we try to stop them we are being bigoted.

Also, who gives a flying flip what Mexico thinks about ANYONE in the US being bigoted or what Mexico *believes* it has a right to? Look at what happens to Hondurans and Guatemalans who try to enter into Mexico illegally. Look what happens when NON-Mexicans try to purchase real estate in Mexico. Mexico has some of the most severe immigration laws, Jeb.
Regardless of whether or not your illegal alien friends are what YOU would consider misfits....they ARE, in fact, law breakers. Misfits, in my book.

You don’t understand, I don’t care what Mexico thinks either but was just saying that Trump’s statement is BS. You guys always turn it around as an attack on immigration enforcement when all I am doing is attacking Trump. You’ll notice I have never attacked Cruz even when he praises Trump or says the same thing (more elegantly) as Trump.
I know how you feel.
But there is no immigration enforcement and all Trump is doing is saying so. Why is that wrong? I support Cruz too but I applaud Trump for saying what he is saying.
