GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump fired back at long time aide to President George W. Bush, Karl Rove, after Rove appeared on Fox News and wrote an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal titled “Trump and Sanders, the Disrupter Brothers” where Rove bashed Trump’s viability.
Politico reports that Rove appeared on Fox News Wednesday morning and downplayed Trump’s gains in the recent political polls – numbers that put Trump above all other GOP candidates including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
“The fundamentals matter a lot and Mr. Trump’s fundamentals are not good,” Rove said. He added that he thinks Trump will be exposed as not being a serious candidate.
In his op-ed, Rove compared Trump to Missouri Rep. Todd Akin. Akin was bashed for his offensive comments on rape in 2012.
Trump responded to Rove’s comments on Twitter.

.@FoxNews should not put @KarlRove on—he has no credibility, a bush plant who called all races wrong.
Trump has also been critical of Rove in previous years for Rove’s incorrect prediction of the 2012 presidential election results.

Whenever I see Rove’s fat, ugly face come on Fox News, I turn the channel. He makes my skin crawl. Rove has become a gross caricature of everything that’s despicable about the GOPee.
Maybe Trump read your book....
The thought has crossed my mind. I know for a fact that the man who he met with today HAS a copy....have no idea if he's read any of it though.
Rove cannot even pronounce “Washington” correctly. I don’t know what is more annoying about Karl Rove, the sight of his fat face or the way he says “Warshington.” Oh, and he is also wrong most of the time. Fox news, give Rove the hook and get him off of the stage.
oh, another thing...I know Rove has read it, or his people have read it, and he was TICKED OFF about it. He went out of his way to personally tell me so at the NC GOP Convention in 2013.
He said it was a “poorly researched piece of trash” - and I responded that “no, the 400 million dollar ad campaign you ran for Mitt was a poorly researched piece of trash.”

Possibly Trump, so far, is a FREEPER plant, rather than a Democrat plant. It shows in the polls too.
His short, sweet and to the point tweets are priceless venting valves for conservatives, and he is screaming with confidence, which makes all the right people need to change their undies.
What if we conservatives also catch the wave and start to find our long lost confidence, along with Trump?
The Donald shouldn’t say that — it insults clowns.
