“Conservatives are rudderless, but progressives are relentless.”

Out of that whole article, this is all you need to know.

We. Are. Screwed.

The problem is because we don’t really have many Conservatives leaders in elected offices. Many Republicans who run as a Conservatives are fakes. I guestimate maybe 90% of them. Only 10% are true conservatives. This is why noone could articulate counter arguments against Left wing policies because most Republicans actually believe in them too

Conservativism is about the government NOT intervening in the market or in daily life unless there is a thoroughly compelling reason to do so.

The criticism of the GOP for failing to jump in with their own response to Hillarycare is therefore a vapid one.

The reason Libs win is our native population is getting dumber, we are importing millions of Socialists, and they all want free stuff.

They always fight (never give in or compromise) and they do not stop fighting (even after they win)

Liberals win because they own the press..... that’s the only reason.

I disagree wholeheartedly with the article's blanket statements concerning conservatives. Conservative voters should not be confused with politicians who campaign as conservative. Conservatives have a plan and we are relentless. Our problem is that we have no one to represent our points of view.

Thanks, Kaslin,

GREAT analysis!

And yet “JEB” still says the GOP will “win” because of our “ideology”...

Politics is a blood sport.

Dem strategists understand this, that’s why they fight dirty. “It’s the economy, stupid”, “war on women”, etc. When have Republicans ever come up with an in-your-face slogan like those?

GOP leaders seem to think each Presidential campaign is a debating club, where you get points for being polite. So they continue to lose, because they always make sure a “get-along” wimp, not a fighter, gets the nomination.

WRONG - you get rewarded for destroying your opponent, by any means possible. Why can’t Repub leaders & strategists understand this??

BTW, That’s also why Trump scares the crap of these “party leaders”.

“The left not only chooses the battlefields, it defines the terms of the fight.”

Yes. This is the key. 1) Libs control the media, so they can jump on any event and immediately spin it the way they want and make it mean whatever they want. This works for them because 2) Libs are led by emotions, not by logic and 3)They think in the short-term, not the long-term. Ask them about the implications of their ideas, and, more than likely, they won’t be able to respond, because they haven’t thought about it! And, even if they end up “believing” two opposing things at the same time, that’s OK with them.

Republicans insist on being straight-laced, calm, and logical. They will never figure it out.

Demonicrat and RINO liberals lie; they lie to support their fellow liars; the fifth-column media lie to support all those liberals.

In dealing with liberals Ann Coulter offers this rule in her book, How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must):

"If the liberal you’re arguing with doesn’t become speechless with sputtering, impotent rage, you’re not doing it right. People don’t get angry when lies are told about them; they get angry when the truth is told about them. If you’re not being called outrageous by liberals, you’re not being outrageous enough. Start with the maximum assertion about liberals and then push the envelope, because, as we know, their evil is incalculable... Nothing too extreme can be said about liberals because it’s all true."

Conservatives are rudderless, but progressives are relentless.

When it comes to relentless, take a look at the sodomites. They represent about two percent of the population, yet they are winning every battle they fight in their quest to foist their agenda on the whole country because they are unrelenting and don't quit.

Conservatives are far more numerous. We need to stop drinking sherry and listening to harpsichord music--it's time to get relentless and militant. We need to rally, demonstrate, lobby, heckle, sue, engage in guerrilla theater, organize get-out-the-vote drives and adopt other tactics that our opponents successfully use, and we must refuse to take "no" for an answer or accept defeat in something like a supreme ciourt decision as final.

Liberals have been working since WWI to infiltrate and control essential institutions. They have succeeded in infiltrating and controlling; education, religion, media of all types, business, cultural and of course political parties. As the article points out they have fixed goals and work tirelessly to achieve them. When an issue comes up liberals move as a choreographed ballet; i.e. the recent Confederate Flag flap was used to attack statutes, names, flags, monuments and even the bodies of the dead by all liberal peoples at once.

Conservatives have no real leaders and are extremely disorganized.

That’s not to say the GOP has to offer its own “solutions” to these problems. There are plenty of issues out there and no reason to let opponents choose the battlefield. But what do Republicans want to do? What’s their vision?

Most conservatives do not understand the mechanics of liberty well enough to explain them no matter what the issue.

Read “The Art of Political War and Other Radical Pursuits” by David Horowitz. The outline for winning political campaigns is in that book. It has long been known that Republicans: 1. Have NO IDEA how to wage political war, 2. Lose because they are ALWAYS playing defense, and 3. Bore people with facts and statistics, while the leftists use pure emotion boiled down to sound bytes that get played over and over again in the media (think, “It’s for the children”)

First misnomer the Republican Revolution brought us a Conservative Congress.

How much did the so-called Conservative Congress actually cut the budget? Not "spent less than was originally projected" but actually spent less dollars in say 1998 than they did in 1997?

Congress has not been anywhere near Conservative since the Great Depression. They have just been slightly less Socialist.

I just assume it is because human beings are inherently evil (Jer. 17:9), and evil policies eloquently expounded by evil politicians resonate with an evil populace.
