I think I noticed he had buds in his ears. I believe he was being spoon fed his answers. Watch his pauses and expressions.
My guess is that whomever was feeding him didn't know sh** about the hostages and Obama had to wing it with a non answer.

I don’t remember any criticism of Sam Donaldson when he screamed questions at President Reagan, in fact they ran those videos all the time. They thought that was great!

I can remember during the Bush years I happened upon a CBS newscast in which they had reporter John Roberts (I remember him as JD Roberts on MuchMusic up here in Canuckistan) asking Bush questions about Iraq and you could see the little smirk on both his face and in the tone of voice while he was asking the questions. I’d like to see if Roberts talks to Obama in the same sort of manner (would not hold my breath or bet a great deal of money on that though).

How can anyone say there was disrespect here when everyone knows that respect is given only after it has been earned.
They are American Hostages being held hostage by a vain attempt to reach a peace agreement just for the sake of reaching an agreement.
