FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – On Wednesday, while speaking to the National Association of Attorneys General, FBI Director James Comey said there are so-called homegrown extremists in every state. “We have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states,” Comey said.
The comment comes in the wake of three New York men arrested for trying to join ISIS. Former Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge, who served in the post from 2003 to 2005, spoke at a conference in Franklin on Thursday. He echoed Comey’s comments. “I think we should say that just about every state there are people that are sympathetic [to terrorism], if not supportive,” Ridge said.

I have a very strong idea why he did this. He was busted for DUI a couple months ago. That shamed him in the eyes of his religious family, so he did this to “die a martyr” and “restore his honor.”

In light of today’s completely avoidable tragedy I should not find this funny but I think your comment is hilarious.
Now that is where they should be looking. Seem to recall some controversy about a contested mosque a couple years ago in a city not too far from there. Just a tad north of Monteagle and a bit south of Music City thereabouts. College is another place. UT in Knoxville I know bends over double literally for diversity. His college courses would be interesting to know.
