To all Trump supporters...some questions
7/18/2015 | Me

With the understanding that I will get hammered by the Trump supporters on this page, I have some questions for you about your candidate:

First, WHY do you support Trump? Is it only because he talks tough? Do you have HISTORY to prove he means what he says on this issue?

Second: Other than screaming about illegal immigration (he is right about it), talking about bombing oil fields and that Persians are smooth negotiators, WHAT other issues does he understand? On what other issues is he Conservative?

Third: Who do all of you expect Trump to choose for the SCOTUS?

Fourth: Can you prove Trump is different from his past as a Democrat...can you prove he is Conservative? how? (please don't feed us the BS that Reagan was once a Democrat...Trump isn't Reagan)

Fifth: How do you reconcile his flip-flopping on issues like Immigration, guns, abortion and OBAMACARE and Hillary?

Sixth: Can anyone explain WHY Trump supported Obama in 2012?

Seventh: Why, suddenly, in 2012, did his donations INCREASE to Republicans when he first decided to run as a GOP candidate for POTUS? Why was he a Democrat donor before then? (don't give me the 'Oh, well, he had to do business in NY crap, either...he gave to candidates outside of NY).

Finally, how can you all be certain that Trump isn't a trojan horse? How can recent talking points outweigh his recent history of comments, etc?

If Trump really is who you think he is...prove to us WHY you think this.

The article I posted that you said you had already read. I’m not doing your work for you, find it yourself, and comment on the content of the article, not your wishful thinking.

I really like Trump. I like his “arrogance” and his bombastic nature.

I just worry that we will be electing another “Bush-like” candidate if Trump is the nominee. There are so many things we know from his past that concern me in the future.

I do think he is paving the way for Cruz though...

BTW: I have other Trump books...I like them. I will have to buy this one.

Don’t forget the Bergdahl deal! Would he have traded 5 top terror leaders for a traitor?

No, it confirms what most of us have been thinking for years. Especially after Mississippi.

That was the question I was posing with my question on Trump and SCOTUS....WHO will Trump nominate.

Do I need to draw you pictures?

Well, since you won’t give me the link again, I guess we are at an impasse...

You still haven’t answered my questions either. Typical...

Trump is not my first choice. But, why are conservatives supporting him:

1) Because he loves the country and has a desire to make it great again.

2) Because he isn't afraid to speak the truth on issues like illegal immigration nor does he cower in fear of the liberals in the media.

3) Because he can't be bought off by the Chamber of Commerce and Republican Establishment.

4) Because he has the "it" factor -- charisma on a level with Reagan and Clinton.

5) Because he comes off as confident leader that can get things done rather than some pandering, flip-flopping nit wit afraid of his shadow.

6) Because he has history of valuing loyalty. If a makes a promise, he is more likely to keep it than most politicians.

If Trump actually gets conservative advisors and comes up with a sound, conservative platform, he can win the nomination. If not, he won't.

I have read those posts...I think something similar was posted on here earlier...

But ALL of the candidates on our side Love america. Cruz does, Walker does...that isn’t something unique to Trump.

Cruz has said the same things on the issues Trump is talking about...Trump just says it louder.

Point 3 and 4 is valid...except that my concern is that Trump would be made to look like a clown. Romney also got hammered for the 1%...Trump will too.

Point 4...Trump has flip flopped on many issues.

He might not win, but let’s not oversell him either.

The issue is assimilating into American culture. Becoming American. I love Americans. You have Americans with an ethnic background from Mexico or Latin America, that don’t want the criminal element coming here to US. Why the heck do you think they wanted to come here? Any who are here for other reasons need to be deported! LaRaza members, for one who want to create Aztlan out of the west.

I agree, Cruz would make a good VP, but he would not help the ticket. If Trump is our candidate, he will have to win FL. I live in FL and Rubio has ticked off a lot of republican voters. Not sure he would help the ticket if he keeps up with his obvious support the GOP establishment. I don't think Col. West is the answer. Not sure there is someone in FL that would help the ticket. I like Carly, but not sure America is ready for both the president and VP to be non-politicians.
