To all Trump supporters...some questions
7/18/2015 | Me

Posted on 07/18/2015 6:54:41 AM PDT by TNMOUTH

With the understanding that I will get hammered by the Trump supporters on this page, I have some questions for you about your candidate:

First, WHY do you support Trump? Is it only because he talks tough? Do you have HISTORY to prove he means what he says on this issue?

Second: Other than screaming about illegal immigration (he is right about it), talking about bombing oil fields and that Persians are smooth negotiators, WHAT other issues does he understand? On what other issues is he Conservative?

Third: Who do all of you expect Trump to choose for the SCOTUS?

Fourth: Can you prove Trump is different from his past as a Democrat...can you prove he is Conservative? how? (please don't feed us the BS that Reagan was once a Democrat...Trump isn't Reagan)

Fifth: How do you reconcile his flip-flopping on issues like Immigration, guns, abortion and OBAMACARE and Hillary?

Sixth: Can anyone explain WHY Trump supported Obama in 2012?

Seventh: Why, suddenly, in 2012, did his donations INCREASE to Republicans when he first decided to run as a GOP candidate for POTUS? Why was he a Democrat donor before then? (don't give me the 'Oh, well, he had to do business in NY crap, either...he gave to candidates outside of NY).

Finally, how can you all be certain that Trump isn't a trojan horse? How can recent talking points outweigh his recent history of comments, etc?

If Trump really is who you think he is...prove to us WHY you think this.

Cruz doesn’t denounce Trump’s McCain comments

AMES, Iowa (CNN) —Ted Cruz was unambiguous in his praise of John McCain on Saturday, calling his fellow senator a “hero” soon after Donald Trump made inflammatory remarks about the Arizona senator’s war record.

But the senator from Texas refused to join other 2016 Republican hopefuls in denouncing the real estate mogul.

Yes I am a single issue voter and (illegal) immigration is my issue. I'm going to quote Sarah Barracuda as she sums things up nicely

"If the left can get Amnesty for those 20+ million illegals they will have power forever. It wont matter who in the GOP runs it wont matter how bad the economy is or if we get attacked by ISIS, it wont matter because those 20 million + illegals are in the bag for the Democrat Party. Just as long as they are given free healthcare, food stamps, and welfare all the Democrat Party asks in return is for their vote which they will get"

I trust Trump and only Trump on illegal immigration. A little earlier in this tread I posted why.

"Good for you. Vote straight conservative and shut up when you lose. Cause you’re gonna......."

Oh, I won't shut up. I'll remind you that you screwed the country when you fell head over heels for a liberal Democrat.

And I'll remind you how different things might have been had you picked a conservative.

*shrug* What separates you from the average Dem voter, when you really think about it?

Nothing.

Well, you might want to look up Trump’s remarks on how some illegals can stay and see if that makes a dent in your fervent “trust.”

Probably not.

Question 1 Reply:

My Answer: Because Trump has the guts unlike your candidate who cowards to the media and remains politically correct. Nevertheless, IMO, Immigration is the top issue now since our borders are wide open, and the Administration is no longer enforcing the law. Our country is being flooded,
My 1st Question To You: Instead of attacking Trump for what he is saying in the public that most Freepers agree with.... How about you tell us WHO you are supporting, over Trump and why? Instead of using Saul Alinsky tactics of Attack, Attack, Attack with no new solutions other than the SAME OLD TIRED PLATITUDES that have been proven to be ELECTION LOSERS over and over again?

Question 2 Reply:

Answer: Most important is that Trump is Leader and has a track record in the private sector to prove it.... He smokes all the other candidates in the private sector alone. They are not even remotely close. Furthermore, Trump is not afraid to be “politically incorrect” unlike the rest of the bunch that stick their fingers in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. That’s not leadership.... Finally, he talks about making America great again over and over again unlike the rest of the candidates that say once in a blue moon.

Question 2nd To You: I have the same questions for your candidate?

Question 3 Reply:

Answer: LOL! As if any Presidential Candidate is going to give you actual names?

Question #3 To You: Who do you expect your Candidate to choose for SCOTUS?

Question 1 Reply
Answer 4 Reply:

When in Rome..., do as the Romans do. Ditto New York City if you are a top business man. If you are going to do business in a Leftist city like New York, then unfortunately you have to play their game until you have enough power to flip it the way you want to play it. It’s just like how conservative actors in Hollywood have to stay in the closet and play along. If not, then you get black listed.

Anyhow, it’s a leap of faith for the voter..... I want a candidate that can win and defeat Hillary. A candidate that is too worried about being “politically correct” does not have a snowball chance in H@ll to win. Moreover, I heard Trump on Michael Savage saying everything that he is saying now years ago.

Answer 5 Reply:
Answer: Again.... When in Rome..., do as the Romans do. Ditto New York City if you are a top business man.

Answer 6 Reply:
Answer: Honestly I do not know, and admit this is concerning. Guess you will have to ask Trump?

Answer 7 Reply:
Answer: Its only a Theory, but Trump knew at this point he would have to run.

Answer 8 Reply:
Answer: That’s a possibility, but even if true…. Trump has done so much damage to himself it would be hard to undo at this point. I think Trump may be the real deal. What we are seeing. He just kept it hidden. The reason being there is no way he could do business in Liberal New York if he is saying what he is saying. Just a theory.

So has Ted Cruz and so has Rand Paul. There is no candidate that says he would seek to deport all 30+ million illegals. The best we can hope for is a closed border and a cut off of federal benefits for those here illegally. And no pathway to citizenship (voting rights).

So While Cruz, Paul and Trump appear very similar on illegal immigration only Trump has made the issue the center piece of his campaign. Cruz and Paul announced before Trump so both had the opportunity to seize on the most important issue facing this nation. Neither did, which indicates to me that this issue is just another talking point to the Chamber of Commerce beholden Senators. Had either Senator talked like Trump about illegal immigration their CoC funding would be cut and they know it. Only Trump has the resources to tackle the issue and remain a viable candidate.

You just don't get it. We are being invaded, what the left is doing to the USA via immigration policy is a military tactic design to over run and kill (Christian) middle class conservative America. The tactic of deliberately changes the demographics of a region has always worked if the invasion is successful. Always. Everything else, ever other issue is just noise as long a this nation allows the invasion of criminal colonists to continue.

LOL...Cruz isn’t at 4%. In the most recent polling, he has pulled 3rd place finishes.

So, if Cruz ain’t going to win and neither is Trump, then what is our option?

===========================================================

I said Trump can win, he is the only one that can, that is my point! The GOPe bosses will fight like crazy to prevent Trump from getting the nomination but he can beat Hilliary even with massive democrat voter fraud. All the pro-illegal's will also work hard at preventing Trump from getting nomination and I wouldn't be surprised there are assassination attempts, he is going up against very powerful forces and their gravy train of $$$$$. =========================================================

In all the latest polls Cruz is 5.5% (7th place), 4.6% (8th place), 4% (tied for 7th place with Huckabee). Older polls show him at 6% and 9% (4th and 3rd place, still single digits) he is dropping in the polls not gaining.

Trump is 17% and 18% and climbing...and he just started campaigning.

"The simple mindedness is following your RINO’s without asking the same questions you are demanding of Trump!"

What's wrong with demanding questions of Trump? Are you so caught up in hero worship that you think he doesn't need vetting?

You call Cruz a RINO (LOL), yet you've chosen to back a self-described Democrat who supports universal healthcare, tax increases, eminent domain, and banning of "assault weapons."

It would be funny if it wasn't so breathtakingly disturbing.

End game here is who can beat Hilliary?

WRONG wrong wrongo.

That is playing defense. That is a loser's strategy. That is letting the opposition manipulate you.

Remember 2007-2008? The clarion call here on FR was "The end game here is who can beat Hillary?" And while Republicans like you were so busy playing defense, OBAMA waltzed in and those Republicans playing defense got exactly what they wished for -- somebody other than Hillary.

The END GAME is putting someone into the White House whose goal is to respect and restore the Constitution and limited government.

Whoever the Democrats nominate means ZIP to me and should mean ZIP to any Republican/conservative who is serious about reclaiming American liberty. It means EVERYTHING to you -- which means you have placed yourself in a position to be MANIPULATED by the Democrats.

The STUPID PARTY every time -- all the way down to falling for a chameleon like Trump.

Another liberal candidate
A hero to the sheeple
Who tells them what they want to hear
Out comes the evil.

Vote straight conservative and shut up when you lose. Cause you’re gonna.......

Lose what, Enqmind? Lose having the Republican party move hard left? Lose having a Republican administration who wants Obamacare, who supports the Environmentalist agenda, who advocates for forcing Americans to accommodate open homosexuals everywhere from bakeries and the military to boy scout troops and your kids' elementary school?

Lose WHAT, Enquiring mind? Lose having a Republican president who calls for gun control and on-demand abortion?

I stand with Catherine of Aragon. What you seek to "win" by settling for voting for leftists/liberals registered as Republicans, IS LOSING.

Senator Cruz who I support BTW, said that we need to address the Illegal Invaders currently here after we Build a Fence on the Southern Border.

Even he was non committal on the subject. Anyone that thinks we will be loading those Illegal Invaders into Freight Cars heading towards Mexico is delusional at best.

The only answer is enforcing E-Verify and fining Employers who refuse to implement it in their Hiring Process. Once that happens, the Illegal Invaders will be forced to Self Deport.

The other obvious fix is making sure that NO Illegal Invaders get any form of Government Assistance.

Over looking your RINO’s problems is hero worshiping to the ninth degree.

Ever hear of taking the plank from your own eye before you remove the sliver from someone else’s eye.

You are not vetting Trump, you are attempting to destroy him with all your backward thinking.

Again, I will never vote for another RINO, even if it means letting another liberal socialist win the office of President. Lying, committing fraud, saying one thing to the American people and then doing another once in office, and demeaning the American people is enough for me to take the action against all RINO’s.

Just recently, McCain called anyone supporting Trump “crazies” that certainly should garner millions of votes for the RINO establishment! Cruz voting to give away US Congressional power to Obama was the last straw for me to support another RINO. If anyone should have known better, it was Cruz, but, it didn't take long to get him voting with the establishment.

I am sick and damn tired of these liars, cheats, frauds, and bullshit artist. At least Trump is willing to talk about the issue facing the American people, immigration, National security, our armed forces, the debt, and most importantly, employment/jobs!

Your hero worshipping has blinded you to the fact that your being played with RINO’s who are actively supporting Obama, Hillary, and the socialist Bernie Sanders! Christie just said he supports fixing our Judicial system just after his boy Obama visited a US Federal Prison! Your hero worshipping just simply ignores what these RINO’s say or do, while demanding answers from anyone supporting Trump.

I support Trump because it pisses off so many GOPe supporters and old media propagandist!

And there it is. There is NOT ONE Republican worse than Obama. Not even a candidate who is vague on abortion. But you people will stay home AGAIN when your guy isn't running, repeating the putrid mess you put us in with Obama.

DISGUSTING

I am sick and damn tired of these liars, cheats, frauds, and bullshit artist.

Yet you support a guy who's whole resume is a lifetime, an amiable one, true, of the latter.

Trump is a great candidate for those who embrace validation of their own anger and frustration at American politicians.

Trump is a great candidate for those who want a political figure upon whom they can easily project their own political philosophy.

Where does Trump stand on Obamacare? The minimum wage? On-demand abortion? Common Core, Planned Parenthood? The homosexual agenda and its affect on religious freedom? The environmentalist "global warming" power grab of EPA regulation? The 2nd Amendment?

I know where Cruz stands on those issues; more to the point, I know Cruz's fundamental political philosophy.

Do YOU know where Trump stands on them? I know where Trump stands on the 2nd amendment, and it confirms the fourth item on your list. He's for it but he's against it. Trump DOES, however have the same contempt that most of us do for the political powers that be in America, and it makes us feel just wonderful when he voices our thoughts so artlessly.

Cruz is the only candidate for those who seek to restore American liberty via a return to the Constitution and its fundamental limited government approach.

Trump is a colorful, charismatic American opportunist whose sincerity may or may not be real, but whose words and track record reveal a person with ZERO fundamental political philosophy.

Cruz's fundamental political philosophy is EXACTLY in line with my own. He is the only guy in the race who has that philosophy. The others still cling to the Democrat play-book philosophy, and they FORFEIT my vote by being so. I only vote for what I want to win.
