Iowa Dems dinner takeaway; Hillary Is Woman, Hear Her in Big, Big Trouble
Cleveland Leader ^ | 07/18/2015 | Tim Russo

Posted on 07/18/2015 7:56:28 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Last night, all five Democrats running for president spoke at the Iowa Democratic Party’s Hall of Fame Dinner, broadcast on CSPAN. Hillary Clinton’s speech might as well have been titled, “I Am Woman.” That ain’t gonna work, sister.

Hillary’s entire speech was about how she’s a woman. Her mother was a woman. Her daughter is a woman. Her granddaughter will be a woman. Thus, vote for me, a woman. She even bragged she’s gonna keep talking about her bein’ a woman, “get used to it it’s a long campaign!” The brain dead brain trust around her has clearly decided she lost to Barack Obama in 2008 because he was a black man, so now, she has to run as a woman, to make history, because that’s the only reason Democrats voted for Barack over Hillary in 2008; to make the history of the first black president. Cookie cutter campaigning has never been so calculated, ice cold, and morally bankrupt.

Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley threw their hands up and declared the game is rigged. Tada! They don’t even have to say Hillary’s name, she’s campaigning against herself at this point. Hillary cut and pasted a few mentions of hedge fund managers into her speech, which she never would do absent Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, so it sounded like an afterthought, which of course to Hillary it is. Not one thing Hillary says is relevant as long as she ignores, and her opponents point to, the rigged game from which Hillary emerges with her hand out. She’s digging herself quite a deep hole, with Sanders and O’Malley happily watching.

O’Malley stuck a knife in too, calling for the 1933 Glass Steagall Act to be reinstated now, which one of Hillary’s ivory tower neoliberal economists recently said is not part of Hillary’s agenda. That right there is a deal breaker for most Democrats. Glass Steagall, the separation of banking from investment speculation, a foundational cornerstone of the New Deal, is universally accepted as Step One to unrig the game. Hillary doesn’t support it. Her husband repealed it. Why the hell elect her.

Hillary lives on another planet. Planet 1%, where her entire inner circle has never, not once, felt the suffocating tyranny of the rigged game, so hopelessly out of touch with reality, they even think Barack Obama ran as a black man trying to make history, which he did not. Just happened to be who he was. Barack never spoke of it unless absolutely forced to do so. Still doesn’t.

Hillary has always been this utterly inauthentic. She doesn’t seem to care, or know. Oblivious. Not one shred of self awareness. Does she even know how entitled she sounds when she brays she plans to be the first woman president, claiming somehow that’s the entire fulfillment of the American dream? She Is Woman, Hear Her Roar. If Americans want to make Hillary the first woman president, we will do so for reasons other than the history we might make.

Hillary’s message is never going to hit the target if it stays so shamelessly entitled, self-absorbed, and irrelevant to 21st century America. The polling in Iowa and New Hampshire is proving it.

..... Well .... With the dumbing down of America and the advent of the low information voting crowd ..... Unfortunately .... It is my belief that elections will no longer be about the best qualified candidate to run the country and uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States .... but rather about pop culture issues and novelty candidates du jour.

.... That said, a novelty candidate based on the color of his/her skin is quite a worn out notion at this time. Therefore that leaves us with a female or gay candidate to be the next novelty president. Heck .... Hillary is both of those.

.....Like the last few elections This next election will probably be decided by the low information voter once again. Conservative media has been demonized so in a pop culture world it will not be effective in disseminating information to that pop crowd. That will be the task of the MSM.

..... In short ..... I actually think Hillary has a pretty good chance in this next election. Heck ..... Unlike a lot of GOP voters who vote on single isues and shun whoever is against ..... "That Issue" ...... Democrats would vote for a sack of potatoes if it was their candidate as long as their candidate is Democrat. They don't really care who .... or what it is ..... as long as it is THEIR candidate. So they will vote for Him/Her/It.

....... As evidenced by the past few elections ...... Republicans will vote, for the most part on single issues ..... and if their candidate does not adhere to their issues ..... they will not even vote for the GOP candidate ..... they will either .... sit this one out ...... or vote .... third party.

..... Then .......... Check mate ....... Democrat/Socialists/Communists win! Evidence ..... that they had a BETTER plan and strategy. They do not.... for the most part .... compromise if it means the victory of their candidate.

...... END GAME.

I don’t think there have been many bigger abusers of women in the history of the U. S., than Mrs. Clinton and Bill. And if she’s the Black Widow I think she is, you can expand that to men too.

You can’t think Hillary without Vince Foster and Web Hubbel.

Then there was the mop up team silencing women through intimidation and favors.

Hillary has always been this utterly inauthentic. She doesn’t seem to care, or know. Oblivious. Not one shred of self awareness.

It's due to two things.

1) A contempt for women that could vaporize steel.

2) Millions of contemptuous women who want to be just like her.

Who picked out that tunic for her?

It looks like a maternity dress to me, but there are some things I don't need to know.

Anybody know about the Cleveland Leader? Is this one man’s opinion? Ohio needs to cough up some Clinton push back, or she will just as readily squat on them as she will the rest of us.

How CAN she possibly drag in votes in the shape she’s in. She’s done. Why would they have her prove it in the White House?

Did you start campaigning for Governor (George) Bush of Texas right off the bat?

I wish you could hear me chuckling. I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the W. tent. I just hated Algore that much. No the Compassionate Conservative thing never worked for me because Conservatism is by it’s nature compassionate, and I felt he was damaging my position of debate for years. I also felt the media forced him on Republicans.
Don’t get me wrong. I think W. is one of the most honorable men to ever have served, but I thought he was a little squishy, and didn’t stand up and make an argument in his second term.

Because of it we ended up with Dem majority in both houses his last 2 years, and they badly mishandled the economy.

Dysfunctional inept dems...yes. But look him is winning. They have gotten everything their dark little hearts have yearned for. I have no reason to be hopeful.

it’s a race between cruz and walker. they seem to respect each other, and I expect a great race.

How much you wanna' bet that Walker just marginalized himself by criticizing Trump's remarks on McCain? Scott reverted to type and now there are only two, Trump and Cruz, in the race. See what happened, it was sooooo satisfying. I really respect smart people that use their talents in a good way.

I have said three times tonight that walker should have taken cruz’s infinitely smarter approach to hair-boy’s comment.
