Bush vows to end DC gridlock (by going along with the democrats, just like dear old dad!)

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush promised to break Washington gridlock in a sweeping domestic policy speech Monday meant to frame him as the only leader who could alleviate the nation's woes.

Promising a vision "on a scale we haven't seen since the Reagan years,” the GOP presidential candidate said he’d announce tax and regulatory reform proposals over the "coming months,” as well as changes to entitlement programs and a replacement for ObamaCare.

"Should I win this election, you will not find me deferring to the settled ways of 'Mount Washington,' either," Bush said at Florida State University, chiding D.C. as out of touch with the needs and values of regular Americans. "The overspending, the overreaching, the arrogance and the sheer incompetence in that city — these problems have been with us so long that they are sometimes accepted as facts of life. But a president should never accept them, and I will not."

Bush's expansive speech is his most specific economic policy road map since he announced his bid last month. From the start, his campaign has touted Bush as having the experience needed to turn the nation around and a conservative record that will resonate with both the GOP establishment and base.

This is upside down.

We don’t have gridlock now... and THAT is a BIG problem.

Could have used gridlock big time over the last 7 years, but the GOPe greased the wheels.

Now, what little and minimal gridlock there is, Jeb wants to end that?

Someone tell this hapless idiot that there is no gridlock in DC - Obama does whatever the hell he wants.

How long will we have to suffer this man's stupidity?

Exactly. We need a two party system, not one.

Poor Jeb. He thought they said, “Grand Master Bloata”.

No Jeb, it was Yoda.

Honestly, after this last week Jeb should donate to the Trump campaign. Without it he would be done, if folks had simply focused on him and his amazingly self-destrucive comments over the last week.

How would there be deadlock if the Republicans control Congress and the White House?

Dear old dad? More like dear old dad and most of the republican congress. Jebtard is just another liberal
running as a republican. He is not a republican and
he is about as far as anyone can get from being a
constitutional republican as the Obama.

Ever notice that Republicans are always responsible for gridlock?

Ever notice that Republicans are always responsible for compromising and ending “gridlock”.

Why is that? Why are Democrats never responsible for gridlock, or blamed for gridlock. Why has no Democrat ever pledged to end gridlock in Washington? Why is that?

If it were up to your 'kinder 'n gentler' daddy, Jebster, there would've been no 'Reagan Years'.
