I’ve been having the same problem, but with multiple sites I frequent: Drudge, American Thinker, Frontpage, American Spectator, Daily Mail, Facebook. Fortunately, NOT Free Republic.

What is interesting that the problem came after I had to renew the multi McAfee subscription that came with my computer and had to do a complete reload of Mcafee. I’ve also noticed, since then, that when I closed down the computer, several ads shadowy click by while shutting down. I’m guessing they were blocked and thus show up when I shut down.

I also ran System Mechanic and that didn’t seem to do any good. I’ll try manual emptying of cache tonight.

Drudge, Breitbart, Daily Mail have screwed up my computer. And, no, FR is the only place that doesn’t. Maybe that’s why I hang out here??

I run trend micro. and ADblock. Don’t have any problems with any other sites including the ad terrible Breitbart

I think we have found your problem. MCafee IS notorious for being bloated and a kludge on computers. Save your money and use Microsoft security essentials it is free and will do the job better than McAffe...
