Trump is going to burn himself out and drop out or set himself up for a loss. He's not pacing himself, he's doing umpteen interviews a day and we still got 15 month till the election. Is he going to keep this up for 15 months? What Trump does is to speak in short sentences that don't necessarily include the complete thought that he's developing. In that Matt Lauer interview, Trump had to ask Matt to complete Trump's thought when quoting him, which took another two sentences.

It's tricky with gotcha' journalism. One has to speak in short enough sentences to be clear but in long enough sentences to complete the thought.

Think about it. Trump says "you're fired!" He doesn't say "you're fired because...."

I watched it and it did not seem like an apology at all. He went right after McCain for calling his people crazy. These were McCain’s voters who he called crazy, who needs to give an apology?

Explain or aopologize and you lose right there. Trump will probably be intimidated into making explanations and apologies and will knock himself out of the race thereby. The Republicans will try to do that to every conservative candidate as each rises to the upper ranks of the contenders. The only ones I see possibly successfully resisting the process are Walker and Cruz.

Has John McCain apologized to Donald Trump for calling his 15000 audience crazies? That insult to 15000 Americans attending Trump's speech was the reason for Trump's non PC response about McCain. John McCain owes 15000 people an apology for his PC castigation of them as being not sane.

This needs to be the end of it. For once Bill OReilly did the world a favor and walked Trump across the bridge to redemption and now we can all move to other issues. Wasting time on a despicable individual like John McCain is unproductive.
