And that’s why I drive a 1997 truck. Minimal electronics, no satlink, no internet/wifi, etc....
“Minimal electronics, no satlink, no internet/wifi, etc....”
I have an Hp printer that allows only minimal functions because I refuse to let it access the Internet. My old printer did these things just fine without the Internet. It will be my last purchase from Hp.
1971 International 1210 3/4 ton pick up is my daily driver ...nothing but vacuum lines and hydraulic systems ....not a computer in it...KISS rule .

I like the newer technology. I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup. It has all the options like roll-down winders, adjustable seat and a radio WITH a cassette player! Even has a sliding winder in back so you can chuck the beer cans in the bed. Full-time 4 wheel drive (if you keep the hubs locked and forget to shift it out of 4WD). 75,000. miles.
My first Toyo truck (’81) was a 5-speed stick with manual steering, no radio or air conditioning. But it did have the beer can window.
Amen to that-I drive a 1995 4x4-maintenace costs are reasonable, no fancy electronics to screw up-I live in a remote area-I look at a map if I don’t know where I’m going...
I drive a 1999 Jeep. Not even power windows. No hacking for me.
