First, Trump is calling for all American flags to be flown at half-staff to honor the five military members who were killed in the Chattanooga, Tennessee shooting last week by a “devout Muslim,” as CNN described the shooter.
Second, Trump is establishing a hotline and email address for veterans to share their stories on how the Veterans Administration should be reformed. He pledges that if elected president he will take care of the veteran complaints “very quickly and efficiently like a world-class businessman can do, but a politician has no clue.”
The hotline is 855-VETS-352 and email is veterans@donaldtrump.com.
Trump stated, “This disgraceful omission is unacceptable and yet another example of our incompetent politicians. It is a simple yet meaningful and important gesture that signifies our respect and recognition for these great soldiers who lost their lives. We must do better for all Americans, especially our military. We must Make America Great Again!”

This a brilliant move by Donald Trump. I will bet that his people who are manning the phone lines and reading the emails will be giving 100% of themselves to the task because that is the way Trump’s directives operate.

Brilliant and off the charts. Trump again is stealing all the attention to himself in a very constructive way. Even the democrat candidates are forgotten. So far in less than 2 months Trump has done something about immigration to the point where there are congressional hearings and now he is doing something about the vets. Let’s see where this hotline leads.
This vet issue has real legs. I listened to O’Reilly yesterday interviewing Trump and could tell this vet issue is very near and dear to O’Reilly.
I can tell O’Reilly likes Trump and this vet thing will score big points with O’Reilly. I bet he will get involved with this and I bet Trump will suck him into this. That is how Trump operates. He sucks people in to the point that they are all in for Trump.
He gets things done!
The new head of the VA gave out his phone number and asked Veterans to call him -— promised he would answer. I have personally called that number when I was told to my face by a VA MD that female Veterans don’t get the care options that male Veterans do, because there are more male Veterans than female so they save their money to treat the males -— crickets.
I don’t think the *crickets* are going to be around for much longer....WTG TRUMP!!!

I think Trump has an easy play here to totally deflect this issue. It's time for Trump to raise a new issue to follow illegal immigration.Trump should start talking about the deplorable management at the Veterans Administration and what he will do about it.
Then he can ask what has McCain and Graham done about it? Hold hearings? Visit Walter Reed Hospital?
Let's see Trump force a new issue onto the candidates that will resonate with the people and smoke out the politicians.
