“Don’t blame Trump because your boy’s soft-spoken routine isn’t capturing the public.”

That is because Senator Cruz isn’t a self-serving exhibitionist as Trump is. I don’t like indulging in “conspiracy theories.” That being said, I must wonder if Trump isn’t intentionally wrecking the GOP primary to set up Mrs. Clinton. Trump HAS backed her big time in the past. Folks - SUPPORT FOR TRUMP IS SUPPORT FOR CLINTON!

Hey, there are folks here on FR that are much better at defending the Senator from the Great State of Texas than I am. I will let them.

I am a Cruz supporter, however I still want the Donald wrecking ball tearing the GOPe RINOs apart along with the Dems. I still want him speaking up about illegal immigration and support for our military. I love the pain he is causing the political class and media.

As far as shilling for Hillary his comments have cut her deep.

e.g. If you take a look at what’s going on in terms of relationship with the United States, everybody hates us. Hillary Clinton was the worst secretary of state in the history of the United States. Hillary was the worst in the history of the United States, there’s never been a secretary of state so bad as Hillary.

I think Hillary would be a terrible president. She was the worst secretary of state in the history of our nation. Why would she be a good president? I think she’d be a terrible president.

Neither do I.

That has crossed my mind too.

I don't think there is a conspiracy, but I do think it is becoming increasingly apparent "the Donald" plans a 3rd party run. He won't be the GOP nominee and he probably knows that, so he may well attempt to parlay what support he generates into a 3rd party run - which will guarantee Hillary win's in 2016 the same way her husband won in 1992 with the help of Ross Perot.

I wouldn't be shocked if after the fact Trump claims that was his plan all along, but I doubt it is - he just rarely admits to being wrong and tries to pretend every error was in fact something he planned all along.

Personally I do not understand why any political party would allow someone to run under it's banner if they don't pledge to support the eventual nominee. There are lots of candidates I dislike including loony Ron Paul, but had he won the Republican nomination I would have voted for him. Again, he may be awful, but overall all the Republican candidates will be less terrible than the Democrat. There is no constitutional right to belong to a political party.

Trump is this 2016 prez race’s Ross Perot -
Both eccentric hugely rich loud mouths, who champion conservative positions mostly for attention.
Trump will give us Clinton
Just as, Perot gave us Clinton.

And to those who haven’t quite thought about the importance of statesmanship, bearing, and discretion in a Commander-in-chief -
Ask yourself, would you hire someone as abrassive and duplicitous as Trump to be the Chairman of a board of directors, or want someone like him to be a military general?

He fails EQ, Big time.
